Patient came to the clinic with fractured lateral incisor(elle’s class 3), patient was advised implant with respect to lateral incisor but patient didn’t want to get implant and insisted to save her tooth . Since the crown structure was not sufficient for a crown, crown lengthening was done followed by rootcanal treatment and post to strengthen the remaining tooth structure . Treatment done: pfm crowns fixed on rootcanal treated tooth. Why is it advisable to get crowns post rootcanal? It is because post rootcanal ,the tooth becomes slightly weeker and is prone to fracture ,in order to protect the tooth and to restore the function and estetics crowns are recommended.

Tooth coloured filling (composite restoration)

This young patient came to the clinic with a huge swelling looked like he had a tennis ball in his mouth, he was extremely scared.on intra oral examination there was a grossly decayed tooth . To get relief from pain patients applied tumeric,limes stone ,mustard oil and clove powder mixture on the tooth which worsened the infection and resulted in huge swelling. On taking proper antibiotics and analgesics patients swelling reduced drastically on the next day. Extraction of grossly decayed tooth was done the following day.therefore always visit your dentist for any dental related problems do not try home remedies
