Location: DeLand, FL

Hours: 30 hours/week (6 hours/day, 5 days/week)

Compensation: Starting at $16 per hour

Responsibilities:

Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding
Provide companionship and support
Implement behavior management techniques as needed
Assist with medical appointments and treatments
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment

Qualifications:

Experience working with individuals with special needs, particularly nonverbal individuals

CPR and First Aid certification

Valid driver's license

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden glow over the city, I found myself reflecting on a truly unforgettable experience. It was a day spent with the remarkable caregivers of khindrcare, who dedicate their lives to taking care of the disabled. Little did I know that this encounter would forever change my perspective on the power of compassion and the importance of supporting these unsung heroes.

As I walked into the khindrcare office, I was immediately greeted by a sense of warmth and belonging.
