As Christians all over the world celebrate this year's Christmas, the Osun West Senatorial candidate of the Accord Party Comrade Anthony Adetunji Adeleke, has called on Christian faithful to use the season to share the gift of God's love by sharing generously with those in need.

Comrade Adeleke made the call in a Christmas message he personally signed, congratulating Christians in Osun West, Nigerians (home and abroad) on the celebration which is the foundation of the Christian faith.

"Christmas is a time for Christians to celebrate but beyond the merry, it should be a moment that shows the very essence of the birth of Jesus which is love," Comrade Adeleke noted in his message.

"As Jesus birth consistently impress on us, Christians should embrace their neighbours irrespective of their faiths because it is in harmony and love that our society can strive."

While rejoicing with the Christians and urging them not to let the message of the birth of Jesus be lost on the world, Comrade Adeleke said Christmas should also be a moment to reach out when and where we can in order to give new hope to the less-privileged and to help give directions to those in difficult conditions," he is concluded.
