My 5th grade son came home absolutely thrilled about Wheat Week!
Wheat Week is a series of five lessons, delivered over the course of one week. These lessons are aligned with Next Generation Science Standards educating students about systems, water, soil, conservation, DNA, energy, and wheat as well as how they impact our daily lives.
Thank you for connecting kids to where their food comes from! Itβs awesome to see this happening across elementary schools in Snohomish County.
Special shout out to Nathan at the Snohomish Conservation District who was Liamβs Wheat Week educator. Liam said Nathan made it so fun, interesting, and engaging and he wishes he could do Wheat Week over again.
