What do you want to learn more about Pin Up tattoos?

One of the most popular subjects for tattoos also seems to be one of the most intimidating for tattoo artists.

There's a reason why this episode of Ink Master is titled "Pin Up Pitfalls". Pin Ups are difficult to get right on canvas, never mind the additional challenges a tattoo artist faces. Not that they can't be done right. One of my favorite tattoo artists, David Corden Tattooist does an amazing job with Pin Up tattoos. But it can be a challenge nonetheless.

So, if you were going to tattoo a Pin Up on someone or get a Pin Up tattoo yourself, what questions would you have? I'd love to know - and maybe lend a little guidance from the Pin Up artist's perspective :-)

A quick message to let you all know I've decided to not do NY Comic Con this year. I've had a blast with my annual presence since 2008, but I've decided to look for other venues that are aimed more directly at pinup and the retro culture.
Thanks so much to everyone who has supported me at the NYCC over the years. Who knows, I may be back someday! :-)
