Her Story
Dr. Gena Yuvette Davis, PsyD, MBA, CCP, BCC is an organizational psychologist, executive coach and author. As founder and CEO of True Synergy, Inc., Dr. Gena leads a team who is authentically committed to empowering and inspiring others to be their best selves. She is a transformational change agent for organizations who wish to turn their companies into diverse, collaborative and thriving workforces. Her drive and energy are infectious as she can elevate her clients and help them live to their real potential.
Dr. Gena’s is an expert in Self and Being. She helps executive level professionals at high growth companies build confidence, credibility and influence in their roles in the areas of emotional intelligence, mindfulness, communication, executive presence and personal Branding. Dr. Gena also works in the area of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) where she helps organizations build more cohesive, collaborative and diverse work environments.
Dr. Gena is a graduate of the University of Southern California, with a BA in Communication Arts & Sciences, has an MBA in Marketing from University of Phoenix and a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Organization Development from the California School for Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University. She is also a board-certified coach (BCC) and received her certification from the Center for Credentialing and Education. Dr. Gena received her coaching training and certification from the Certified Coach Federation (CCF). She is an Everything DiSC® Authorized Partner and certified Everything DiSC® trainer. Dr. Gena also has a certificate in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica (USM).
Dr. Gena is a member of several professional, civic and community-based organizations including Toastmasters International, where she is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM). She is a professional member of the National Speakers Association, and sits on the board for Understanding Principles for Better Living Church in Inglewood, CA. Dr. Gena is also a dedicated member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Los Angeles Alumnae Chapter.
