This past Saturday, 2 Sisters had the amazing opportunity to be vendors at the “Ladies, Lunch, and Lemonade” event.

Special shout-out to Mrs. Dyvona Moore for allowing us to partake in such an incredible event! The spirit of the Lord was definitely present and there was so much joy in the room.

We are so excited for the next one and can’t wait to see all the amazing things God will do through this event🙌🏾

It is with a heavy heart that we have to write about the passing of our mentor, business partner, friend, second mother, biggest supporter, and so much more.

Miss Dana (Dana Maeshia), we would like to personally thank you for pushing us the way that you did! You were the one who advocated and connected us with ABC10 News to do a segment on our newest book at the time. You invited us into your home (Around The Way Girl's Book Club, All Things Literacy) and gave us our FIRST mentorship opportunity!

You were truly an ANGEL😇 and we are so glad that we had a chance to form a relationship with you on this side of heaven. We know that you heard the words “servant, well done” and it’s because of that we have some peace in our hearts💕

Here are our top 2 tips for writing your first book!!

✔️Planning is ESSENTIAL! We cannot stress this enough! It is very important that all aspiring authors plan WHEN they are going to write and WHAT they are going to write. This will make the writing process way less stressful when you have a plan that you can execute🙌🏾

✔️Research!! This is equally just as important as planning! There are a lot of resources out there (but we must warn you that not all resources are beneficial). So, start with the basics: YOUTUBE!! It will be your best friend throughout this process.

How was your Mother’s Day Weekend?

We spent the day with our mommy and celebrated her by taking her to her favorite Thai restaurant, showered her with lovely gifts, and then capped the night off by watching a couple movies of her choice. It’s safe to say she definitely enjoyed herself!

Today is Monday, which can be a really hard day for some people. Are you one of those people?

So, today we encourage you to have a little faith and take moment to pray with God. Ask him for exactly what you need in order to make it through the rest of your Monday with JOY and PEACE🙌🏾

Wassup 2 Sisters Family!!!

Whew, these past 2 months have been extremely busy😊 but we are thanking God for the opportunities!!

We just wanted to take a moment the AMAZING girls of Around The Way Girls. These 13 young ladies spent 4 weeks with us in our mentorship program👏🏾🥺

We had very candid conversations about goal setting, dreams, self love and confidence, self-advocacy and more! We made vision boards, affirmation jars, read our newest book ( ), and engaged in enriching conversations.

At the end, these lovely ladies reflected on themselves and how they felt after going through these 4 weeks with us! This experience was definitely one for the books for us! There was so much joy, love, knowledge and positive energy being exchanged. It was truly moments of GIRLPOWER!!

Words cannot express how grateful we are for Ms. Dana (Escape Velocity Resource Foundation, INC. Dana Maeshia All Things Literacy) for giving us this opportunity! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much💓💓

When we first started our business, we didn’t understand how important it was to “THINK BIG”. We thought that we had to do everything small or minuscule. While we are taking baby steps, we are no longer limiting our vision🙌🏾

Today, we were reminded of a good ol’ prayer that we were taught a young girls. (We’re sure most of you know what prayer we are talking about😂😉)

But as we reflected on the Lord’s Prayer, this particular part stood out to us; because every time God gives us breath in our bodies, energy to get things done, a calm spirit, peace, etc; he is giving us our daily bread🗣

So, today just take a moment to bask in God’s glory and thank him for the simple things that he has done👏🏾.
