About us

Paul King is the driving force behind Travel Nurse Channel strategic setup and operations. His years of business experience in healthcare supplemental staffing afforded him an intimate knowledge of the workings at hospitals and clinics. In 1997 Paul co-founded AllStar Staffing. Having perceived a need in the Healthcare industry for exemplary caregivers Paul focused his emphasis on attracting the highest caliber Healthcare employees. This allowed AllStar Staffing to provide its clients with competent, efficient and reliable applicants. Currently, with Gold Medical Jobs, Paul has created a process which expedites the ongoing supply and demand for healthcare jobs.
About Us 2 An RN since 1977. Rita’s career began in New York, as a clinical staff dialysis RN. She worked with both chronic and acutely ill patients. Transitioning into intensive care nursing came naturally and became her full-time passion. Eventually she opted to join a Per-Diem nurse staff agency, where she flexed from 8 to 12 hour day and night shifts. Rita welcomed shifts in critical care, telemetry, medical, surgical, and occasionally pediatric and psychiatric units. She enthusiastically made home visits, case managed, and worked private duty. Clinical nursing included learning and teaching moments, seriously heartbreaking and successful outcomes, sometimes during less than 24 hours. In 1993, her agency invited her to become an administrative RN, managing and directing hundreds of RNs, LVNs, and CNAs. This ultimately led to the creation and ownership of AllStar Staffing, for the next sixteen years. What a wonderful business and extended nursing family her husband/cofounder, Paul King, and she created. In late 2016, she transferred to a very busy and productive national travel corporation.
