"Whew"
What a great weekend of playing music, the weather was perfect and happy folks were out and about.
Kelly and i logged a couple hundred miles traveling to and from our gigs but all worth every mile.
August 6th is our next adventure to the Red Hawk Golf course in East Tawas

Here is a one minute read for Kelly Beck.

Kinetic Kelly a single mother/Grandmother who tirelessly works to provide for her young family as the most working musician in Michigan that I know.
She has a planner than stays at her side for booking gigs at assisted living homes where she can single handedly place big smiles in hearts and faces on senior citizens with her gift of music and down home honest to God charming personality.
Kelly also plays in the Sunshine string girls band as well as her new musical project the KINETICS.
When at home she cleans and cooks amazing meals and tends to her garden and bills.
For those who know Kelly know this is all true
We are blessed to have Kelly in our lives so treat her well

KINETIC MINUTES:

After meandering our way up north through northern Michigans country roads we arrived at our destination at Kelly's shangri-la on lake Michigan where we set up the 59 Shasta for a two day musical extravaganza,
Friday evening Kelly & Gabe ....aka the KINETICS set up in front of Kilwins where fine ice cream and assorted treats are served to customers with eyes a glow,
At 6pm we started the music and it only took moments before delighted crowds gathered once Kellys beautiful voice rang out.
At the end of the evening a first class dinner was had at the Torch Lake Caf'e.
Saturday we all enjoyed finding unique stones and a refreshing swim in the crystal clear water of lake Michigan, topped off with a great hot grilled lunch, i even found time for a short nap before Saturdays show on the wrap around deck where diners relaxed with friends and family for dinner and drinks.

Notes from THE KINETICS

No dampened spirits were found at the Knollview Friday as the owner Brian Knoll has made sure a good roof over heads makes dry happy customers,
Dinner was amazing as Kelly and I took on the taste test after having our arms twisted.
After indulging ourselves with NewYork strip prepared to our specifications, red potatoes mostly mashed, mixed vegetable and a roll we rated dinner at a 10.5 out of a possible 10,
I thought a good nap was in order afterwards but The show had to go on at 5:30pm sharp,
loosening my belt for comfort I proceeded to join Kelly Beck the lead singer of the band whom by the way was eager to play music, we were almost all set up when we realized that the rest of the band hadn't shown up yet and would have to somehow push through it without a hitch,
As the evening progressed, hungry and thirsty customers filtered in and filled the bar area as we played requests to delighted listeners and diners alike
