HIT-TRACKS TOP 100 - YEAR 47 - WEEK 4
Hi everybody! Joe Bonamassa's mix up of the Led Zeppelin tunes 'Tea For One' (Presence 1976) and 'I Can't Quit You Baby' (Led Zeppelin I 1969) is #1. It can be found on Warren Haynes presents The Benefit Concert Vol. 20. It features performances by Gov’t Mule who presented a “Dark Side Of The Mule” tribute to Pink Floyd as well as Grace Potter, Jamey Johnson, Marco Benevento and Mike Gordon. Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl also headlined one night for a set billed as “Dave Grohl And Friends Play ‘Play'” in reference to his 23-minute instrumental. Gov’t Mule, Eric Church, Jim James and Joe Bonamassa and many special guests round out the lineup.
Peter Gabriel's 'Live And Let Live' and Joe Jackson's 'Health And Safety' are number 2 and 3 respectively. 'Talk Of The Town' (Shed Seven), Why Why Why (Joe Jackson presents Max Champion), 'Beautiful People' (The Black Keys) and 'Us And Them' (Roger Waters) are all four new in the top 10. T Bear's new track 'A Change Will Do Me Good' is the highest new entry out of 25. It's Richard's Gerstein's first song released off his forthcoming album "Way Of The World" due out on Quarto Valley Records Spring 2024. The new album was written and recorded as the world emerged from the pandemic and produced by long-time Grammy-winning collaborators drummer Tony Braunagel and guitarist Laurence Juber. Another surprise is the new single of Mumford & Sons with Pharrell Williams. The British rock band’s first new music since 2019. Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane recorded the song with Pharrell in New York and Paris. They enlisted native vocalists, a six-piece vocal choir from the U.S. and Canada hailing from native American tribes within the Northern Great Plains, to feature on the track.
ALBUM OF THE WEEK is the sixth album of Dutch blues rockers The Liberators who are based in Maastricht. "A Ride Out Of Town" has ten nice tracks that get better with every "turn". The nice harmonica (Stephan Hermsen),sometimes exciting, sometimes threatening, and the always leading drums (Lucas Vroemen) form the basis of their bluesy and groovy sound. The guitar (Frans Piepenbrock) and the bass (Ronald Roodbol) are certainly there too. Jazzy track 'Solidarity' is the biggest surprise in our opinion. Be proud boys!
Check also the new albums of Bernard Allison (Luther's Blues), Green Day (Saviors), Ivy Gold (Broken Silence), Nits (Tree House Fire), and Robby Krieger & The Soul Savages (s/t). Next week we expect the new albums of Eva Carboni (In The Name Of The Blues), Brad Wilson (Buckle Up), Johan (Great Vacation), Smile (Wall Of Eyes), and Tom Odell (Black Friday). Enjoy the music and have a great week!

Thank you to the band who lays it on the line every time!! If you watched the live, that doesn’t even touch how amazing things were last night. It sounds good, but if you were in that room.. you know after listening back.
I have not stayed up so late in probably a decade.
Last night I was so tired, I slept at a loud bar on the high top counter while a band was playing. lololol I also felt sad and like I wanted to cry because I missed . I still miss him, but after resting, my tears have dried. 😂
I’ve been doing okay with eating here as well. I don’t want to undo a years worth of work in 7 days 🤪 I actually feel I may have lost more inches since I’ve been here. I’m literally working out on stage! Lolol
So excited to perform again tonight and share our hearts with even more people!
We are so grateful for the opportunity to be here!
Ready to hit the stage in 30
