Hey everyone! Just wanted to circulate the word about morning work out changes.

For the remainder of the summer we will meet at 6:15 in morning.

Summer weights is for all current or incoming Goodwell Athletes 7-12. Don't miss your chance to improve.

The summertime OSSAA dead week period is July 1 - July 9, 2023. During this time, student-athletes cannot participate in school athletic activities.

• Secondary-level students enrolled or pre-enrolled students at a member school may not use any member school’s athletic facilities during the dead period in connection with any athletic activity governed by the OSSAA.

• Member school coaches, assistant coaches, and sponsors may not have any contact with secondary-level enrolled or pre-enrolled students in that member school in any athletic activity governed by the OSSAA for the purpose of coaching, training or instructing.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm very excited to announce that Mr. Rilee Slover is not just a one-time, but a TWO-TIME OCCTCA Track and Field Senior All-Star!!

This is a very deserved honor for a very deserving young man!

Our boys 4x400 established a school record this year!

Running a time of 3:37.31

The team of Rilee Slover, Dusty Conway, Mason Taylor, Brayden Garrison.

Side note from Coach A:

This season was new, fun, and exciting. It was great to see our kids compete absolutely as hard as they could all season. 7 confirmed records in a single season is insane. The picture below means alot to me as a Coach. Seeing my home (Goodwell) and my Alma Mater praying together before they competed is a sign of true heart and passion between these two communities. It is an absolute honor to Coach the Goodwell Lady Eagles and Eagles. Thick or thin, rain or shine, it will always be a great day to be an Eagle.

Big congratulations in order for Mason Taylor on breaking the school record in the 300m hurdles!

Mason ran a time of 43.23!

Great Job to Brayden Garrison on breaking our school record in the 200m Dash!

Previous record was set by Bode Grice in 2018 with a time of 23.9.

Brayden ran a blistering time of 23.44 setting the new record!

Wonderful moment for senior and first year Varsity Track Athlete Rilee Slover.

He broke the school record in the 400m Dash with a time of 52.25.

The previous record was held by Arturo Lozano with a time of 53.46 set in 2021.

Awesome job to Jackie Avila! She broke the school record set in 1999 in the 400m Dash!

The previous time was 65.5 ran by Carrie Cunningham in 1999.

JQ ran a time of 65.18 at the state meet!

A massive job well done to our girls 4x200 team!

They ran a time of 1:53.70

They broke the previous record of 1:56.81 set by a team of Gracie Lankford, Hadley Hines, Kadence Coffman, Maylinn Avila.
