Every single believer should bring their heart to the Lord with the purpose of giving God their complete wholeness, undivided attention giving God glory for what He has deposited in all of us. We need to reflect who God is in you.

How does one know a song sung to the Lord has been accepted by the Lord? Moses went up on the mountain to receive from the Lord the commandments of God so that the people can live for God as a pleasing aroma. You have to spend time on the mountain to receive from the Lord to give back to Him. A song is birthed in this way and too many musicians/song writers write from their minds but not necessarily from their spirit because nothing has been deposited into them; they haven't spent time on the mountain. It may result into a nice song but powerless and leaving no mark on the human soul.
