Swipe for a quote from “Black American Working Woman.” How does this statement make you feel? Do you agree? Can you relate to those that feel this way?
Read on to find out more about the one act, 4-woman play by Paula Ralph Birkett:
In the heart of a compelling narrative, Tamika Johnson, a marketing manager grapples with self-doubt that hinders her entrepreneurial spirit. This internal battle is rooted in ancestral shadows that Tamika is unaware of until a deep dive into her family’s past reveals the source of her constraints. With this revelation, Tamika courageously fights for liberation from inherited limiting thoughts, striving to free herself from the invisible shackles.
