We have a choice every day to walk in the path He has prepared for us or to choose our own way. Take heart that His way will not disappoint you or lead you astray. We all know in our hearts which way Holy Spirit is leading us. Sometimes it may be the uncomfortable route but it will be worth it. It’s easy to let our flesh get in our own way because we think our way is better. He is the way, the truth, and the light. His ways are higher.

And when you pray, ask God to examine your own heart as well as theirs. God showed unexplainable grace on us at the cross. How much more grace should we have have for others as an extension of our gratitude to the Lord?

What wonders we could create with such a small portion of genuine faith. I encourage you to look up an image search of a mustard seed and see what it grows into. It is a great illustration to meditate on.

When the Israelites were fleeing Egypt, the people knew the Egyptians were sure to pursue them. Moses blessed them with these words of encouragement. The Israelites were in fear. As far as they were concerned, they were in a life-threatening predicament. As the story goes, the Lord did fight for them as Moses insisted.
Whatever you are fighting today, take heart that the fight isn’t yours to fear alone. Have faith that the Lord will deliver you. He’s the same God today that He was when he plucked the Israelites from Egypt. And He will always give you His best.
“In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”

How peaceful life can be when we embrace the love that surpasses human understanding. The kind of love that only God can provide. This verse really spoke to my heart today. I pray in this season of frustration and anxiety, that we can all be reminded how much more there is to be grateful and happy for. We feel this when we let our roots grow down into God’s love as Paul writes here in Ephesians.
I find it so interesting how much the blood vessels in our hearts resemble the roots of a tree.
There are many voices in the world trying to cause fear and anxiety. Don’t let them.

If you’ve ever felt defeated, offended, hurt, jealous, or prideful; be reminded of this truth from the book of Philippians.
The creator of the universe, God himself, humbled himself to live the life of a human. He lowered himself down to our level, suffered, and died.
The story didn’t end there though. He defeated death and rose again.
This is a beautiful example to overcome those feelings of defeat, offense, pain, jealousy, or pride. Lean on the love of Christ whose spirit lives in you. He can help you and guide you to the restoration you seek. You already have all that you need to simply trust in him.
