Welcome to Shut In Sweets! This small (like one person baking kind of small) bakery was created to provide comfort foods in a time of chaos.

Our goal is to function as a bakery by day and a completely free delivery service to local hospitals by night.

HAPPY EASTER! 🐰🐇

Our Story #BakeswithHeart

Our story is bit different than most bakeries! We are the founders of the Columbus band, Honey and Blue. We recently found our main source of income, like many others, had been put on hold due to COVID-19. We found ourselves with a lot of time on our hands and nothing passes the time more deliciously than baking.

Within a few days friends began to ask if they could buy them, so we started selling them. One glorious day a friend who lives back home in New York asked if she could send me a payment to support the bakery and in return maybe give those treats to some hard working nurses or doctors. In these uncertain times, this was EXACTLY the kind of thing I was looking for. A way to give back and create. Since then I have had so many generous people sending in donation for supplies to keep this going strong! Within only two weeks I have already dropped off four HUGE boxes of baked goods with handwritten thank you notes. Please note: The purchased baked goods help keep Adam and myself afloat. 100% of the donations go to supplies to allow us to bring smiles to as many people as possible! #Bakeswithheart
