Happy ! As a woman in a male-dominated field, this day reminds me of the community of women both in and out of my industry that act as my cheerleaders. I've always viewed female communities and support as critical for our shared growth and emotional wellbeing, which is one of the reasons I sent my daughters to the same all-girls high school that I attended.

I was recently able to spend some of the school day with my daughter at Marian's career fair. I'm not sure when career fairs started there, but I don't recall any happening when I was a student. One thing I am sure about is how infrequently finance was presented as an opportunity to me growing up. Thankfully, my dad showed me the way. I am so grateful that my daughters and other young women have grown up in a world where they know they can be anything they want to be.
