I try to stay out of politics, but this year we have four judicial openings in Pierce County Superior Court. (I appear before this court almost every day.). We need good judges and often many people are unclear who are the best qualified individuals running for judicial seats. I will ask my Pierce County contacts to please vote for Ingrid McLeod for Pierce County Superior Court Judge, Department 15 in the primary election. Ingrid is by far the most qualified candidate running for the Department 15 position.

If you are a Tacoma Public Utilities (TPU) client and have your account number you can vote for an organization as part of the 2024 Evergreen Options Grant Voting.

Three organizations submitted applications for the 2024 Evergreen Options $50,000 grant. Your vote will determine the top two finalists and the winner will be voted on by Evergreen Options participants.

It does not cost anything and you can help nonprofits in our area. It only takes a minute, very short form, your name, your TPU Account #, the non profit you are choosing, and then submit.

I would suggest voting for AHAT Homecare (Affordable Housing and Treatment).

Quite literally nothing at PSES would happen without Paralegal (and CFO) Marne Warner. (She also has the difficult job of caring for Shadow, our VP of Employee Moral.) In reality, PSES is a partnership between Marne and I as I couldn't do it without her.

Did you know that a revocable living trust is only effective for assets funded into the trust? This means that if you have your house in your name, even with a trust, the house will need to be probated. This is especially important if you have purchased new real estate since you set up your trust! If you would like to have PSES review your trust and its funding, please give us a call.
