Today feels like fall is finally here so I thought it was a good time to announce that my fall mini sessions are LIVE! 🍂🍁

I’m so excited to be doing fall mini sessions at two different locations and two different dates this year! October 7th at Howe Farm Park in PO and October 21st at Fort Worden State Park in PT.

These 30 minute sessions are the perfect options for families that want some beautiful updated photos for the year at a much lower price then I usually offer.

These are great for families, couples, and individuals:
- with kids (or adults!) who are impatient and want photos to be over soon
- who have a smaller budget for photos
- who want a couple lovely photos for a holiday card
- who want gorgeous photos but dont want a full adventure session

$275 plus tax, 30 minutes and 30+ images

Hey there friends! It’s been awhile since I’ve introduced myself around here! My names Megan and I’m the face behind Megan J photo. I’m a Pacific Northwest wedding and elopement photographer and I thrive shooting warm and candid images! My favorite thing is getting to know my couples, and capturing their true essence and personality in my photography. I love it when people start to let lose and really be themselves around me!

Here’s a couple fun facts about me -
🌻 free people overalls are my addiction (I own 3 pairs so far)

🌻 I’m a 2 on the enneagram and I fiercely love my people. It’s my biggest joy to support others and see them thriving in their everyday lives!

🌻I’m a mama through adoption to the sweetest little girl (Olive 🌿) and I absolutely adore being a girl mom.

🌻 I grew up here in the PNW but hate coffee (tea drinker for life!)

🌻 I married my husband after only knowing him for 6 months (long distance) and we’ve been married for 12 years this September! Woohoo! When you know you know 🫢

🌻I’ve only been a photographer for 2 and a half years now, and really only committed to my business last spring. I stumbled into this and I had no idea photography would become the place I could use my creativity and my heart for others. A passion of my heart now! it’s been a wild ride and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

If you have a FULL timeline on your wedding day consider booking a day after (or week, or month, whatever works for you!) bridal session with me! Not only is this a fun way to get epic bridal photos at a beautiful location, but it’s a moment to slow down, reminisce, and just take some extra time for you and your love. That’s what getting married should be all about after all!

Couples who will love this option -
1. Want a variety of bridal photos and may not have the best options for getting those beautiful shots at their venue. 2. Would enjoy private time as newly weds with no one awkwardly watching you tongue kiss (or whatever your feeling) with your love. And 3. They are looking for a relaxed time taking photos without stressful time restrictions or worries about the day. No agenda, just you and your love!

It was freezing during their session but these two are anything but cold for each other 😉❤️‍🔥

How cute are my mom and dad?! I’ve been wanting to do a session with them for a long time and we finally made it happen the other night. My mom couldn’t stop laughing the whole time and she kept saying my dad was doing the “smolder look” lol…. Yeah… well there are six of us kids so they obviously like each other 😘

Looking through their photos I was struck by how often I took my parents relationship for granted growing up. I’m so thankful my parents taught me what commitment looks like. How to work through the hard things and stick to your word. How to be silly and flirty and have fun together. How your never too late to learn the other persons language and love them deeper, better and richer. Their example is sweet and I’m so glad I have them in my life! We will cherish these photos forever mom and dad ! Love you both ❤️

Meghan and Elijah might just be the sweetest couple I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting! ☀️

For their first look they shared personal vows and just spent time praying together. It was a sacred moment and full of kisses and laughter. I just love the way they did things throughout the day! They were on the their own time and seemed to know that this day was really about the two of them coming together and just enjoying the moment. Gosh it was the most beautiful day! And I’m so honored that I was able to capture it for them.

Been feeling a little unmotivated lately… anyone else just become a hermit this time of year? I just wanna cuddle up in my pjs with my family and never leave home.

Trying to keep my routines and remind myself of moments like this one over the summer - beautiful whidbey island with the sweetest couple ever 💫

And I’m over the moon to be offering some fall minis this year at a beautiful location Fort Flagler state park! I grew up spending so much time here, camping with my family, playing on the beach and exploring the woods. It’s very nostalgic for me and my hope is it will feel that way to my clients during these fall mini sessions as well!
