Body + Soul Wellness Activation Highlight:✨Yin Yoga with Vincent Magee of Me2We Empowerment✨

Join Vincent for a 60-minute session of Yin Yoga to calm the body and relax the mind.

Yin yoga can help to improve symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, PTSD, sleep issues, gut health, and so much more. This meditative and relaxing environment will include holds of deep stretch postures using gravity to lengthen the connective tissues and fascia. This is an accessible class - all levels welcome.

Vincent has been a creative staple in Portland via music and community engagement throughout his Adult life as a DJ (Domestially/Internationally) and collaborated/organizer with multiple community organizations. His focus has been connection through music and creating equitable spaces for people to find common ground amongst their differences.

As he was introduced to Yin, he gravitated towards the focus of going through what is uncomfortable which brings us back to self and understanding our needs and boundaries. By prioritizing rest, building a close relationship with our bodies and giving our minds time and space to process our thoughts and feelings, he is focused on linking healing with the physical, mental and spiritual necessities provided by yin.

Through Yin he aspires to help people garner the tools for self-healing/self-acceptance in order to bring more alignment to the intersectionality’s within the diverse communities we identify with, allowing space for collective healing.

Body + Soul Wellness Activation Highlight: ✨ Ancestral Healing Sound Bath with Through the Trees Collective, Black Honey Wellness, and Late Breakfast ✨

Join us for an immersive experience with “Ancestral Healing”, a unique sound bath centering on the energetic lineage of the African Diasporan people. Three, powerful Black-women healers come together to guide participants on a journey of self-discovery and healing – through the harmonious blend of guided meditation, sound healing, and the collective energy of group reiki, all while encouraging participants tap into the rich ancestral energies that resonate within themselves.

Nicole Allen(she/they)of Through the Trees Collective has dedicated her life’s work and mission to the service of people. Nicole’s passion is to empower marginalized communities, as they are often limited in access to diverse opportunities to learn and grow. She believes that when we heal communities, we allow for a world that reflects greater innovation, collaboration, understanding, and ultimately abundance. You can find out more about her work

Desiree Batiste is a lightworker and certified Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher, who believes that in order for us to live our most fulfilled lives, we must learn how to heal internally – releasing past traumas, creating new mindsets, and practicing connected living. When we go inward, quieting the outside noises of the world, we are able to tap into our internal guidance systems. Once we are awakened to these systems, we gain a better understanding of our true essence, which allows us to show-up intentionally for ourselves and our communities. You can find more about her work

Antha Reynolds of Black Moon Healing is a 1:1 healing guide, sound healer and yoga teacher. The work she does inspires her every day through guiding others on their self-care journey. Body + Soul Wellness Activation Highlight: ✨Somatic Breathwork with Aaron Robinson of Opening Presence✨

Are you ready to dig deep and transform?

Somatic Breathwork is an experience that reignites the body’s innate intelligence. By using the breath as a driving force for change, we engage directly with the soma - liberating stagnant energy trapped in our body caused by unresolved emotional experiences from the past. Common expressions may look like yelling, crying, laughing shaking and the full spectrum of human emotion. These powerful releases create mental clarity and bring us back into harmony with our sacred felt sense of being. This is an opportunity to claim energetic sovereignty and to restore meaning and intimacy with all of life.

Aaron Robinson is a Somatic Breathwork Practitioner, yoga instructor, mindfulness facilitator and podcast host. Over the last 5 years he has dedicated himself to creating spaces for healing, personal growth and accountability through workshops and public talks for corporations, non profits, schools and community. Realizing that most people struggle with consistency in their meditation practice, Aaron has created a modern framework for anyone to apply whenever they fall out of their routine. Through being open and sharing our collective experiences we see that showing up isn’t just half of the battle, it’s pretty much the whole thing.

Space is limited. Save your spot via LINK IN BIO.

The studio is warm and beautiful, the practitioners all lovely and welcoming and the yin practice one of the top I have experienced in my 20+ years of practicing. Their vision to serve as a place of community and solitude has surely been achieved and I cannot wait for my weekly class and the unfolding ahead."

The support and positive feedback we have received since opening Yin Yoga Space and launching SIN Yin in October is unbelievable.

The service and s*x industry doesn’t exactly support a traditional self-care practice, and we are here to change that. Offering those who need space to stretch, meditate, or just be still for a moment before or after a shift is what were here to provide through our late-night Yin program.

During the day or late on a Friday night, there is space for you at Yin Yoga Space 🖤
