This project in Gettysburg was a lot of fun and the customers were great to work with. They knew what they wanted but were surprised by subtle details we were able to provide. We demoed and resurfaced the existing 10x12 portion of deck and then added an additional 12x12 section. Capped off the project with a 10x10 cupola and, Voila, you have a deck ready for all your summer gatherings or evenings under the stars. OUT WITH THE OLD……you know the saying!! This was a huge update for this bathroom. This bathroom actually went down to stud walls with all new drywall installed. So no, we did not paint over wallpaper. This project was super fun and Ms. Sarah was super happy!! Another happy customer. Ms. Jane needed some extra pantry space as well as moving her washer and dryer up to the main level from the house. It’s amazing what a little bit of thought and design can do to a rather blah space. Added custom built floating shelves, new recessed lighting, and a laundry area. Out with the really old and in with the new. It amazing how new vinyl can elevate and freshen up a landscape. Call us, we can do the same for you!!

This is before and after of a project we did. We removed all the banisters and handrails, sanded everything down to bare wood, restrained everything, installed new balusters, and then reinstalled the rails. We also added matching flooring to the steps with nosing, installed new flooring and painted all the trim. It turned out really nice. And, the customer was very happy.

Thanks for liking our page. My name is Kirk Powers and I am the owner and manager of The Powers Company with my wife, Jennifer. I have over 20 years of experience in full scale building construction. but, my passion is in the remodeling industry. I find that in this part of the construction industry we are able to watch the old fade and all of the ideas and planning come to life. We are a small, family owned company that takes great pride in producing a product that we would only approve of in our own home.

But not only are we a full scale construction company, we offer handy man services as well. There isn't anything that we are not willing to offer services for. And if we are not equipped to do the job, our years of building relationships with local businesses in the trades are available to advise.
