The 2020 Wreaths Across America theme has been announced!: "Be An American Worth Fighting For."
The inspiration for this year’s theme came from a keynote address made by Staff Sgt. Daniel Strong during the 2018 es**rt to Arlington. His message that December day spoke to the daily importance of the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach: “Those young men and women who are in Arlington National Cemetery and other cemeteries, they earned the right for you to be an American worth fighting for.”

Neil and Jeff had an amazing time working with Blue Star Mothers, Tunkhannock American Legion., Local Boy Scouts and community members laying wreaths on veterans graves as part of Wreaths Across America. Thank You Dave Evan's and the Blue Star Mothers for putting it all together!!

What an awesome day. All across the country wreaths being laid at cemeteries to remember those that served. It great to see all the young people that turned out at Wreaths Across America - Sunnyside Cemetery - Tunkhannock, PA to help lay wreaths at 600 graves. Mrs. Eagle and I were proud to be a small part and to watch as our grandsons laid wreaths and would say the veterans name and then say thank you. Thank you to the Blue Star Mothers of NEPA for all the hard work you did to bring this here.

To all those who played a part in the mission today - know that you made a difference. Thank you.
Now that I am warm, and dry, I wanted to make sure I thanked everyone who came out today to honor our veterans at Sunnyside Cemetery! I am truly humbled by the outpouring of support from our community and all of NEPA who came out in waves on a miserable weather day to recognize the local heroes buried here. Each and every one of you , , and ! I’m amazed at all of the pictures, but I think my favorite is this one, taken during the ceremony of all the heroes today.
Just a few hours out! Final preparations are in progress and we will be ready to go at 1:00! Looking forward to seeing our community come out and honor our veteran heroes at Sunnyside Cemetery in Tunkhannock!

Starting at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, there will be a brief ceremony in front of the Sunnyside Cemetery office after which volunteers will fan out to lay wreaths across the expansive cemetery, off Sunnyside Road, just east of the borough
Our wreaths have arrived!!!!
Show up at Sunnyside Cemetery in Tunkhannock. Ceremony begins at 1:00pm followed by the wreath laying. All are welcome!

Before this weekend's ceremonies and events officially kick off, we wanted to send a huge THANK YOU to our friends and supporters at National Association of Independent Truckers - NAIT. Without your transportation support, the mission would not be as successful as it is this year and every year you are involved. Thank you for Playing A Part!
Just heard from our driver. He is all loaded and on the road heading our way! Wreaths will be here Saturday morning. I’ll get a better idea about the time tomorrow afternoon!
