Frost laws are seasonal rules that reduce the weight limits and speeds for trucks and other vehicles on certain roads. They aim to prevent damage to the roads from heavy loads during the spring thaw, when the roadbed is softened by moisture.
Frost laws are enforced in 16 states in the US: Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The dates and duration of the frost laws vary by state and depend on the weather and road conditions. Some states provide maps or notifications to inform drivers of the current status and locations of the frost laws.

Safely Transporting Precious Cargo: A Lesson Learned!
On Friday 09/22/23 in Denham Springs, LA a helicopter met a bridge. The bridge was 15ft, and the helicopter 15'6" (according the the specs), and the trailer height of 18" to 24" - Basic math and common sense says IT"S DEFINITELY A !!! NO GO !!!
Anyhow, the Denham Springs Police Department said the driver, 56-year-old Miguel Rodriguez from International Machine Transport was ticketed for careless operation.
While officials haven't confirmed the aircraft's details, it resembles a Sikorsky S-92. This brand-new helicopter comes with a hefty price of about $30 million. It was heading from Georgia to Lafayette, LA, and well... it almost made it.
This is a reminder or the importance of getting a permit, read it, secure an es**rt (15'11" In Louisiana), check your route, read your permit again, pay attention to the signs while driving, if it looks like you're not going to clear it - stop, G.O.A.L. , request necessary assistance. You're not at the casino, don't try your luck.
We sure as heck know the value of stretchin' them dollars, but skippin' them permits? Well, that's like tryin' to yank a D6 with an F-150 – it's doable, but it sure ain't wise.
Now, when them Smokeys start grillin' ya, you better spin a tale that'll leave 'em scratchin' their heads, somethin' they ain't heard before! It's doable, but unlikely.
When you'd rather worry about them 4 wheelers, and flip-floppers than getting your S chewed for being where you ain't s'pose to be, reach out to us, we'll get you squared away.
Good Job team AMERICARS. When things need to be done, they get it done. Proud of you guys!!!
Folks, here's the deal: Construction season kicks off around March and sticks around 'til the snowplows need room to steal the snow!❄️
Now, as for using that "blue area" to dodge restrictions, well, let's just say it'll make alot of views on YouTube! 😂 But, if you're keen on the real-world challenge of maneuvering those oversized loads through the construction maze, count on us to have your back!

The additional time is needed to complete placement of the steel girders for new bridges.
🚧 Important Reminder: Order Permits for Oversize Loads 🚛
Hey everyone,
We've got a recent incident to highlight the importance of ordering permits for oversize loads! On Tuesday morning, there was an incident at the I-64 overpass on Illinois Highway 37, just south of Mount Vernon. A 2021 Peterbilt truck with an oversized load attempted to pass under the overpass, causing damage and getting stuck.
Thankfully, no one was injured, but the overpass suffered damage. This serves as a reminder that safety should always be a priority when transporting oversized loads. Don't forget to obtain the necessary permits to ensure your journey is smooth, informed and incident-free.
Let's keep our roads safe for everyone! 🛣️
