"Y’all I’m about to be real vulnerable with yall on today! 7 months ago when I got introduced to Noni I joined the business because of the importance of timing and positioning and so I say yes to make sure I locked in my spot and have another stream of income.

I did not know that Noni and the amazing skinny drops would change my life like it has. Yall i didn’t realize that my b***y extended into my back and I had no b***y but baby you see that picture on the right side, your girl b***y is b***ying lol 😂! No for real though I was at my heaviest weight at 313. pounds and I’m now at 288🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 and still loosing every week. I was at a point when i looked in the mirror I didn’t know who I was looking at. I knew i needed to lose the weight because my last doctor visit my doctor gave me the result from my blood test and I was on the edge of having diabetes, hypertension, and her telling me that If i didn’t loose the weight she would have to put me on medication to get my levels in Check. At that point I said there is no way in hell at 40 I would be on medication for diabetes or anything else. I made a decision to get my life together. Just like I made the bad food choice decision & lifestyle to put the weight on I have the same power and ability to work hard to get the weight off! I started to eat healthier, worked out 30 min a day for 5 days a week, and started using the NONI and Skinny drops I’m 24 pounds lighter, no more hot flashes from early menopause, my hormones are in balance & I’m healthier and i have some much more energy, I’m blessed and thankful that I said yes to getting my life back on track! It all start with a decision and action and all things are possible through Christ who strengthens you! If I can do it you can too!

I’ll be 56 this year so I’m going to be my own

I remember when I was asked to take over a program that had been started three years prior but was now stagnant and seriously failing its community.

It was listed as 50th in the country for being able to serve its community during a public health crisis through a major nonprofit organization committed to informing the public about all things related to its health.

I had no team, no solid foundation, no money, and a big vision.

However, I went out and built a team of volunteers...

Many ask how I did it and my simplest answer is this:

I went to the people, listened to their concerns and problems, and then asked them to help me change their situations.

I then went to the people who had influence and created a win/win situation for us both and they kindly donated their time and resources.

Within two years I had taken that program from 50th in the country to the top 20 and the next year we were in the top ten.

I know you are tired, and not sure which way to go, but keep going, it won't be like this always.

Individuals we serve are not our customers because they have no money.

According to a 2021 Nonprofit Leadership report (Nonprofit Pro) 53% of all nonprofits fail to outline in-depth strategic plans especially for fundraising.

According to Nhu Te (2021) this lack of planning puts nonprofits at a disadvantage to those who have a strategic plan.

For example, a strategic fundraising plan positions the nonprofit to not only have a comprehensive roadmap on how they can achieve their fundraising goals each year, it can also identify key goals and priorities that nonprofits need to focus on (e.g., number of donors acquired, number of donations, dollars raised, etc.).

I get this question a lot about the difference between a business plan and a strategic plan 🤔

So I will use this as a

When you first start a nonprofit you need to create a business plan 📃

🆕 A business plan is used to provide a structure for ideas in order to initially define the business.

🆕 A business plan outlines why the nonprofit business was created, its vision and mission, what programs it intends to develop and the community it wants to serve.

🆕 A business plan is used to obtain funding💲and direct operations 👷🏾 because it gives a high level view of what the nonprofit wants to accomplish and how much it's going to cost.

On the other hand 💁🏾‍♀️

🔜 A strategic plan is primarily used for implementing and managing the strategic direction of an existing organization.

🔜 The strategic plan tells employees, volunteers and stakeholders what the goals are for the nonprofit and how it's going to get done.

🔜 A strategic plan is critical to prioritizing resources (time, money and people) to grow the revenue and measure the success of its programs.

I could go on but I hope you've realized that you need both and that it is dependent on what stage you are in with your nonprofit.

For so long I was afraid to truly step into my role as CEO.

These past few weeks it's getting easier and easier.

Today I had a call with a client and before I could ask her the question God told me to ask she told me what I needed to know and was able to tell her that I could not serve her in that area.

And I felt no way about it.

Had a meeting with my CEO Coach, Tar'kesa Colvin, who reviewed my strategic plan and Q1 goals, helped me to make some adjustments and clarify my profit planning sheets, gave me a plan to batch content and organize it so my admin can find it.

Chillleeee....that in itself was priceless 👏🏾👏🏾

In talking to her I realized that as the CEO of three businesses I was no longer allowed, nor did I have time, to play in Canva so I submitted my ebook to Fiverr to make it pretty.

My most favorite moment of the day was submitting a JV Partnership proposal to a coach for my Faith on F🔥 RE Talk Show.

While I was typing it up I remembered my Pastor prophesying that we would sign contracts...🙌🏾

I know that there is so much more ahead for you and me...so start focusing on that and leave the past in the past.

Today has been a busy day!

I had a call this morning with a new client about her nonprofit.

She has her 501c3 and a board, however, she was stuck 🤔

Why:

❌ She had been given some misinformation

❌ She wasn't sure what was for-profit, nonprofit and ministry, and

❌ She was overwhelmed because she was trying to do everything but wasn't doing anything 😳

As I sat and listened Holy Spirit began to:

💰 Give me clarity around the population she serves

💰 Identify the programs she needed to create

💰 Show me how to align her businesses (nonprofit is a business with a tax exempt status) so that she would be clear about the products and services each business offers.

By the end of our session she had clarity and was reignite about her nonprofit.

So on my prayer call this morning my prayer partner said something that struck my spirit.

She said something like this, "let not our faith waver but let it be on fire".

Then when I was on my strategy call this morning with Stephanie Wilson, "If you put on this shirt you let the devil and all his minions know that your faith is on fire and it cannot be extinguished".

As I was in prayer this morning I realized the joy in my heart that I haven’t felt in a while.

Joy is different than happiness...

Joy is something that the Lord gives and it comes out of our 💖💜

I asked God about it, when did it come...

He said “when you fully surrendered and stepped into the fullness of your divine purpose to help my daughters”.

Helping women to get delivered and healed, be empowered with tools to overcome adversity and live free is my mission on this earth!

And I will do it unapologetically 💜

When I decided to divorce fear, doubt and worry I started seeing the hand of God orchestrating His will for my life.

What are you holding onto that’s getting in the way of God’s manifestation of His vision for your life??

Don't stop working towards your dream. If God gave it to you then you are equipped to fulfill it.

When you are completely in the will of God for your life everything you ask for shall be given to you!

How do you know when you are in the will of God for your life?

When you are at peace even though it looks crazy 😜

A transitional home for women who have been physically, emotionally and/or sexually abused.

Some days I don’t feel qualified.

But today I feel empowered! 🙏🏾
