If your property has trees near your roof, it is important to keep trees well maintained and minimize debris on your roof. Ideally, we recommend having your roof swept annually. Pine needles and leaves can get trapped on your roof and cause roof drain clogs and leaks. Call 520-296-1897 today for roof maintenance.
At Royal Roofing Co. we apply our reflective roof coatings with rollers. This results in a thick coating that provides more reliable, long-lasting protection for your roof. Spray coatings, which are commonly found, do not provide the same level of durability and protection over time. Call 520-296-1897 today to learn more about our reflective coating options.

We love to see positive feedback like this from our client, Lisa.
We were very pleased with the work. The true test will be when it rains! I was expecting MUCH more in costs once the foam roof was stripped, but the repairs were less than anticipated. They even did some work at no charge.
Mary is another happy customer. Read what she had to say about her experience with Royal Roofing.
Bill (the owner) arrived on time to give us an estimate on re-coating our townhouse's flat roof and to remove an un-used evaporative swamp cooler from our roof. He was very professional and helpful. He explained our roof's condition in an honest manner and in a way that made sense. The next week he and his crew arrived promptly, cleaned our roof then applied the coating. They also re-sealed the roof's edges. They were very neat with their work, they covered our nearby travel trailer with a tarp to protect it. Another thing I particularly liked was the fact they cleaned the roof with a hose, brush, and chemical-free TSP rather than power washing it. I feel that power washing can cause damage to a roof's surface. We received several quotes from other roofing contractors, we are so glad that we chose Royal Roofing. They also warranty their work. We will definitely use them again in the future.
We love to see what our clients are saying about us. Thank you, Tania for this great review.
The proposal submitted was very clear, listed the specific products to be used and detailed the costs (including listing any possible additional costs). When I had questions or issues that I needed to have resolved regarding the proposal I got a quick and clear response. The owner was willing to explain in detail what they would do and how they would do the work. They were able to start work promptly (no problems scheduling for a reasonable date to start) and they were on time every day. Each day work was completed leaving the roof in a safe condition and water tight. Each day everything was cleaned up nicely. Some materials were left on site overnight with my permission, but they were all cleared up and out of the way. The quality of materials used and the quality of the work met or exceeded my expectations and were better than I had seen done by previous roofers. The roofs were completed in four days and about an hour of the fifth day (I was told to expect it to take all week). As an extra bonus, workers did not have music playing all day (I was expecting this and wasn't going to complain, but I think it shows extra consideration for the customer that you frequently don't find from construction crews). This was not the lowest bid I got, but I will still give them full marks for price given the quality of the work. All work was done for the original quoted price with no added charges.
The word “tile” evolved from the Old English, tigele, cover. Originally, the word referred to roofing shingles, floor tiles and similar flat, thin rectangular materials. A thousand years later, we still use the word “tile” to describe clay and concrete roof shingles.
Metal roofing is available in many colors, but the color you choose can impact more than the curb appeal of your home. Lighter colors can help reflect heat, keeping your home cooler.
Over time, your roof will start to see the effects of weather and aging. Loose or missing shingles or popped nails will require the aid of a roofing contractor, and having him or her perform routine fixes like this can save you thousands in the long run.
Q: I want to install several skylights in my roof. How much will that cost me? Is it worth it? A: The extra light can be wonderful, but it will make installing a roof more expensive. You’ll have to check with a local roofer for an accurate estimate and make a decision from there.
Not only are slate roofs beautiful, but they are also extremely practical, as slate is an extremely durable material. In fact, in general slate roofs offer a lifespan of up to 75 years or more, and stand up well to natural elements.
Did you know? Solatube exterior flashings have been carefully engineered to work with every type of roofing surface, from shingles to slate, tile and metal. Constructed from one piece of steel, the flashings are seamless and watertight.
Lighter colored stains on your roof could be lichen, a fungus that is similar to algae but doesn’t leave black streaks. A roofing contractor can determine if the lichen should be removed or if your roof is ready to be replaced.
A standing steel metal roof uses a succession of vertical sheet metal roofing panels that are secured in place by hidden fasteners and connected side by side using an overlapping/locking mechanism that forms a raised a standing seam (sometimes called a raised rib).

When your slate roof is being planned or installed, you may hear the term "headlap" being used. Headlap is the amount of overlap that one tile has over the next one. Usually, this is around 3 inches, but can vary depending on the slope of the roof.
When you have an unusual building, you may find that dealing with the roof can be more complicated than a standard building. No matter how complex the job, we’re always ready to take on the challenge of your commercial roof.
As part of a roof inspection, the roof structure is checked for signs of moisture, rot, or mold—all which can signal that’s it’s time for a roof replacement. Wet spots don’t always occur underneath a faulty shingle. Rather, water can travel down to its lowest spot before dripping.
If you buy and sell homes for a living, then you know how crucial every dollar spent is to your bottom line. However, spending for a few tasteful upgrades like a Solatube system may actually increase the property's value and lead to a more profitable sale.
While zinc is most often associated with the coating for galvanized steel, it has its own strengths as a roofing material. It develops a blue-white patina as it ages, can take intricate patterns and designs, and will last almost indefinitely – at least so far.
There are several indications that your slate roof might be in need of repair. This includes cracked, broken, misarranged, and missing slates, as well as any deteriorating flashings and/or broken or clogged downspouts.

Do you ever wish that there was an easy way to keep the inside of your warehouse cool during the summer besides kicking up all the fans too high? Remember, installing a metal roof on your building could allow it to reflect back some of that heat before it can get inside.
