Just so you know I have not given up on trying to change the law regarding workman's compensation in Florida! The coronavirus, the election the black lives matter is taking attention away from this matter so for now its on the back burner. Until these other issues are solved and then I plan on hitting this hard and going after it not giving up.
I just know that this is going to take a backseat to everything else that is in main stream media I would get nowhere for now.
I'm not backing down. Just need this other stuff in news to stop taking all the attention. I still plan on going after this law I just wanted to update everyone. I know how this politic works, ill know when it will be time and the cause will be HEARD LOUD and CLEAR!

Please people in Florida, share this page. Read WHAT Florida laws under Workman's Compensation have protected MILLION dollar Companies but puts employees at risk because safety isn't a priority in work places. I want to get this law back on the floor in Tallahassee because families need protection if killed on the job. That doesn't happen in most cases. The payout is based on an economy 30 yrs ago. This needs to be addressed by law makers.

I'm inviting you to this group as I'm am going after a 30yr old law that leaves families in emotional & Financial turmoil if killed on the job. Scroll thru post on his page watch news about the I4 Ultimate construction project. My Son Marvin Franklin was 1st one killed and since then there have been 4 more. A truck driver backed up without a spotter killing my son, leaving his 3 KIDS without a dad. The judge threw out wrongful death suit because it didn't meet the standards of "ABOVE GROSS NEGLIGENCE"
WHO IT PROTECTS ARE THE MILLION DOLLAR COMPANYS. MAX PAYOUTS IN MOST CASE UNDER WORKMANS COMP 150,000.00 DOLLARS WHICH WAS SET ON THE ECONOMY OF 30 YRS AGO.
HELP ME GET THIS STORY OUT, WE NEED THE GOVERNOR AND LAW MAKERS TO UPDATE OR CHANGE THIS LAW. WE MUST DEMAND THAT EMPLOYEES ARE working where safety is being followed to the highest standards. Thank you on behalf of families who have lost a loved one as well as MarvinFranklin's FAMILY. As his mother I will not stop until someone listens to me in Tallahassee.
