If you have an older furnace, please read!

In the first picture you can see a metal tube that is broken in half. That tube feeds the gas supply to keep the pilot lit in this furnace. This furnace had a cracked heat exchanger causing the flames to roll back inside the furnace which broke this tube, which is VERY dangerous. The pilot tube breaking will cause gas to build up inside the furnace, it’s a miracle that a fire didn’t happen. Thankfully the low voltage wires got shorted out which caused the furnace not too run.

If your furnace is 20 years or older, it is recommended to have it looked at. Safety is a big factor when it comes to running an older furnace! We want to make sure you’re safe, call us for a free estimate on a new furnace.
