On July 7, 2022, Rep. Otten was 1 of 16 “No” votes on HB 1342. This bill would exempt the estate of any service member killed in action in defense of our country from having to pay State Inheritance taxes.
Think about it for a moment, a service member is killed in combat and Rep. Otten wants to make sure the Commonwealth gets paid. All other Chester County representatives voted in favor of the bill and Gov. Wolf sign the bill into law.”
Please share this with your friends. The public is not aware of these dangerous votes.

200% more fentanyl seized in July 2022 than June 2022. It scares us to think how much was not seized and is right now seeping into every street in America.
Perhaps instead of spending $87 billion on the IRS, we could have spent it on Border Patrol Agents?
July border stunner: Enough fentanyl to kill every American Fentanyl is surging across the southern border at an astronomical rate, with July’s rate of seizures shattering the previous record and tripling June’s rate, according to new Homeland Security statistics released this week.
We need Jessica Florio for State Senate in Harrisburg!
Happy Pennsylvania Day!
As part of the preparations for our nation's 250th birthday (July 4, 2026 for all you playing at home.) the America250PA group decided to honor Pennsylvania Day 2022 with a day of service to assist those agencies helping to fight hunger in our Commonwealth.
I was privileged to spend this morning with other volunteers at the Chester County Food Bank located right here in Uwchlan Township. It was amazing to see the good work being done to support our neighbors. One thing the staff made certain we knew, was that the food bank is under increased pressure during this difficult economy. Families should not be forced to chose between gas or food.
The Food Bank is always looking for volunteers. Please consider reaching out to lend a hand. https://chestercountyfoodbank.org/

Time to vote!
In a recent article of the DLN it was written that I was called a "total snake" by Ron Vogel. But what is important is that Ron and I spoke the next day, where I confirmed that I was not the source for any newspaper quotes or information. We had a cordial conversation when he was kind enough to call me back from a wedding he was attending. He ended the call with, "I'll talk to you later, my friend." I have not spoken to any reporters in this matter. I would not speak to any reporters in this matter. I expect that Ron and I could continue having friendly conversations.
Then, this afternoon it was suggested that I may have "hired" an individual to post hurtful and slanderous comments about Mr. Vogel and his family. Again, this is completely false and I have no idea why someone would think that.
I have said to many that I feel terrible for Mr. Vogel and his family, which is absolutely true. My only job in this whole matter is to represent the Republican Committee of Chester County. In such representation, my goal is to be fair and objective. That role means that I do not take sides in a primary contest. I do not have a vote on the Executive Committee that issued the censure. I did not advocate for a censure before the Executive Committee. I did not take any position before the Executive Committee. The campaign manager for Ron Vogel for Congress can confirm these statements as he was in the Executive Committee meeting when the censure was voted on.
Before anyone else throws out baseless accusations against me. I invite them to message me and I will do my best to answer any questions about my role as solicitor for the party.
Thank you.

RED ALERT!
Your help is needed!
Today, the PA Supreme Court lifted its court ordered stay on petition signing for the General Assembly (House and Senate) and the Republican State Commttee Members. So what you say? The Court is allowing only 10 DAYS (3/18 to 3/28) for candidates to obtain the necessary signatures to place their names on the primary ballot. Typically, a candidate has 3 weeks to complete the task.
Republican Committee of Chester County contact your local committee member or this page to make arrangements to sign the necessary petitions. We can make sure you get the correct petitions for signature. Better yet, please consider taking a petition to your Republican friends and neighbors to obtain a few signatures. It’s easy and we will walk you through the process. Every little bit helps!

As the President continues suggesting doling out money. Here is a reminder of how much this country owes because of D and R spending.
Well said Becky!
Also, think about it, Pennsylvania has the chance to promote peace in Europe. Putin is holding out knowing that he can cripple Europe by not delivering Russian Natural Gas. Western Europe gets 35% of it NG from Russia. What if Pennsylvania can ramp up production to offset any loss.
