"Sound of Freedom" has received almost no mainstream media coverage outside of Variety. Why? For starters, Jim Caviezel is an overt Christian, and the media apparently doesn't care much about the evils of child trafficking.

Regardless, "Sound of Freedom" has already done amazingly well at the box office because of people like you. The film grossed roughly $14 million on its July 4th opening, beating Disney's "Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny."

To put that into perspective, the latest Indiana Jones film cost approximately $300 million to make. On the other hand, "Sound of Freedom" only cost roughly $15 million - That's next to nothing by today's standards for a major motion picture.

The film is really well-made though it's sad and disturbing because of the subject matter. Still, "Sound of Freedom" is definitely worth a watch this weekend.

Feel good Friday with Youth Relations Deputy Plussa💚 These 3rd grade students couldn’t wait to show YRD Deputy Plussa the dragonfly they found during recess. Deputy Plussa makes a point to teach his students at Everglades City School all about wildlife and the beauty of the natural world. The students remarked about how beautiful it was just sitting on their hand when they were quiet and calm around wildlife, just like he had taught them.

Happy International Women's Day from CCSO! Today we recognize the incredible women of CCSO, they are an integral part of our ability to make a positive impact in the community every day.

Goya partnered with baseball legend Roberto Clemente to provide free baseball clinics to children in Clemente’s native Puerto Rico for many years. We continued our partnership with Roberto’s three sons Roberto Clemente Jr, Luis Clemente, and Roberto Enrique Clemente, and the Roberto Clemente Foundation by commissioning the first statue depicting the Puerto Rican legend in NYC at Roberto Clemente State Park. It was a privilege to honor the 50th anniversary of Clemente’s passing and celebrate the memory of a great athlete, humanitarian and hermano.
