Decorating the Bartlesville Weddings table for the Bartlesville Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business luncheon at Hillcrest Country Club yesterday was an honor.

Having fun with this group of ladies and meeting new ladies though was the highlight!

Love getting cards in the mail from the newlyweds that have allowed me to be a part of their special day!!!

I cried for the first time at a wedding that I was planner of last night.

No not because of any stress or bad thing, rather bc of the couple and their families.

People I have known for 20 years now and this weekend I had the pleasure of pulling together my now largest wedding for two kids I have watched grow up and grow together.

So yes I cried when they shared their first dance as husband and wife (even though I have seen them dance before😂) and I cried even harder when mother and son danced together bc a couple of years ago doctors said that probably wouldn’t be possible for her.

Large weddings are not without stress but at the end of it all, this is all the gratitude I need.

And I am crying again! 20 years or 20 days, I try to find that emotional connection with all my brides.

Feeling cute. Slaying the day. Oklahoma humidity has had its way with my hair since I forgot the cute hat that went with the outfit.

Bartlesville Weddings meeting, picked up florals and ribbon for two weddings from Hobby Lobby, and then to the church for City Kids crafts.

Another wedding in the books! Wedding planning is fun but sometimes stressful. The ex*****on of it is thrilling yet exhausting.

But having the bride and groom love it, is nothing but rewarding. I love my job!

What do you do the week before your wedding to relax??

Well for this wedding planner, I either do a massage or facial or mani/pedi. However, this time I tried something new and have fallen in love!!

Is the photo flattering? No. No it is not. Do I care? No. No I do not😂🤣

I have been very ill for over a week and very busy with other events the two weeks prior to that. Wedding is in 3 weeks and bridal shower is tomorrow so it is now crunch time.

It rained on her wedding day but they say that brings luck and it cleared off before the ceremony start time. Even if I did get drenched after just having had a shower!

I forgot to get a couple of photos and I never share of the bride and groom until they have or until the photographer has, but the day went off without and hitch and at the end of the night they were both smiling bright!

Does your wedding planner pay attention to the fine details and go the extra mile for you?

Here at bless duo creations we do! This bride is on a very tight budget. She is having a Buffet line with clear plastic silverware napkins even plastic plates. That’s fine nothing wrong with that, but I know how to make the Buffet line run smoother and faster as well as how to give it some elegance.

So I sat and rolled her silverware inside of her pretty napkins And tied them with the jute that is throughout all of her wedding decor.

How are you spending your wedding Wednesday hump day?

I’ve been recovering from surgery well and it is now time to do the florals for this weekends wedding!

Bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, garland for the octagon and table centerpieces all coming up!!

We started talking a few months back about my daughters 4th birthday party theme, she loves princess Jasmine so we decided on an Arabian Nights (Aladdin) theme. Mom made all the balloon pieces, made the adorable little vases that are in the fourth picture, and thought of all of the yummy food ideas!!😋
The lengths she will go to, to make someone’s vision a reality!!✨ Forever thankful for her and her wonderfully creative mind. 🫶🏻♥️

Honestly posting this scares me to death!

But it fits!

It fits what is being said in my heart and mind and what I couldn’t finish saying out loud.

Turning 44 has made me realize I have goals that I set that are not being met and I want them all met and busted through by my 45th!!
