🌟 Volunteer Opportunity: TCES Campus Beautification Day! 🌟

📅 Date: Saturday, June 22, 2024
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
📍 Location: TCES Campus

We are calling on all family and community members to join us for a day dedicated to making our campus shine! We need volunteers to help with:

🎨 Painting hallways
🌳 Mulching (provide mulch)
🧼 Pressure washing sidewalks
🌿 Killing weeds
✂️ Cutting down brush by the playground
🌸 Planting flowers (provide flowers)

🥪 Lunch and waters will be provided for all volunteers.

You are invited to go on a hike to Fiery Gizzard on Saturday, May 25th. Parents drop off at TCE at 8:00 and pick up at 1:00. Must have been registered with Leaps this school year. Parents must fill out a permission slip Friday when picking up report cards or Saturday morning.

Tracy City Elementary Principal Tanjala Johnson, Faculty and Staff would like to spotlight one of our amazing Eagles. Bella Layne is our 2023-2024 Salutatorian.

Bella Layne is the TCE 8 grade Salutatorian. She feels that talking with her friend is one of the best things about TCE. Bella has one sister and one brother. She has a pet named Amos. Bella’s favorite subject is Math, and her favorite book is Number the Stars. When she is out of school, Bella enjoys playing the piano. Bella wants to be a cosmetologist when she grows up. Congratulations to you, Bella, on being such an amazing young lady and student! You will always be an Eagle, and remember, Eagles don't just fly, we SOAR!

TCE 7th grade team competed at the TN 4-H Central Region Clover Bowl Contest today at Hyder-Burkes Ag Pavillion in Cookeville, TN.

County Wide Field Day is also canceled.

5th and 6th grade field trip has been cancelled and we will be doing a virtual field trip.

TCE students, Neyland Jernigan, Johnathan Cox, and Kyleann Caldwell played at the Caverns last night for the SCCF benefit concert.

Cooks Day and we have the best around. They go the extra mile for our students and staff! We appreciate all you do for us!

Jarron Johnson is a second grader. He feels that friends are one of the best things about TCE. Jarron has one sister and four brothers. He has two dogs named Rosco and Diamond. Jarron’s favorite subject is Math, and his favorite books is Bedtime Stories. He loves doing dangerous tricks on the trampoline when he is at home. Jarron wants to be a Ninja when he grows up. TCE will be hosting the All Star volleyball game for the MVVL All Conference players this Tuesday at 5:30 pm. Gates open at 5.
