After a very long break we are back! We put a stall at Downtown Melbourne Farmer's Market at Riverview Park. Of course, it's FL with 90F weather 😭 and a sudden storm 🤦‍♀️. Too bad we couldn’t get pictures before we packed up due to an unexpected sudden storm 🥴.But, we introduced Dodol today and it was 100% sold out! 🥰 Who’d say no to Dodol? 🤭🤷‍♀️

In general, the market was slow moving and as this is still not the season ☺️. We are extremely thankful to see our returning customers and new customers stopped by us today!! ❤️🙏

Because we were so excited last time, we did the same event today by introducing Sri Lankan Coconut Toffee and Lentil Wade Bites. Just like last time, Narang Kawum was on fire 🔥 🔥 We had customers from last week looking for Narang Kawum 🥰🥰.. We sold out Narang Kawum, Wade, and Roti in less than two hours 😄. We had 90 packs in total and we came home only with 9 packs in leftover 👌

We are thankful for our valuable customers who stopped by us, tried tasting and of course for buying these new foods.. 🙏🥰 It was not a conversation about just Sri Lankan foods. Still, it was an enjoyable moment to introduce who we are, our culture, and natural beauty in Sri Lanka, etc. with lovely people we meet here..🥰🥰

Our first outdoor event turned out great!! 👌

Since we moved to Melbourne in 2019, we have met less than five Sri Lankans living in this area and never thought our SL authentic foods would be a hit here!! We had Kokis, Rulan aluwa, Narang kawum, Milk toffee, Ribbon cake, and Roti, and we just wanted them to try, at least to convince them to try our samples! Some people we met haven’t even heard about Sri Lanka 😄, and we came home with only six boxes (two from each Kokis, Roti, and Ribbon Cake) of left over.. 🥰🥰

We are very thankful for our beautiful customers for supporting us, trying and liking something new that they haven’t even heard about!!
