The Covid 19 vaccines are a remarkable achievement in medical sciences. It took the efforts of many to bring this about with the goal of improving the lives of many.
I took the vaccine as soon as I could find availability. I hope you will too.
Let’s put an end to Covid 19 in Warren !

Please take a moment to read “Your Daily Local”. The coverage of Warren County Front Porch Day was welcomed today.
This weekend was a great time to greet neighbors and experience the wonderful neighborhoods of Warren and Warren County.
Let’s do this again next year and let’s take it Commonwealth wide so all Pennsylvanians can experience Front Porch celebrations !
Warren County Celebrates Second Annual Front Porch Days, an Event Years in the Making WARREN, Pa. – The concept behind Warren County Front Porch Days is a simple one – to spread neighborly cheer.
The waterways of Warren, PA and the surrounding area are resources that we need to protect so recreational activities can continue for years to come.
There was a special excitement in our city this weekend with the paddlers here !
Happy Warren Front Porch Day to all the residents I serve ! I hope we all find time to get out and say hi to our neighbors. The neighborhoods of Warren are strong. Let’s keep them that way.
Remember we organized a free community concert for Sunday at 2pm at 1st Lutheran church. Hear the original front porch day song and the way Warren Front Porch Day came about.
The banners are up !
Warren County Front Porch Day is nearing. Invite neighbors, friends and family over for some friendly summer conversation.
Meet all of the area residents on Sunday for this years FREE concert.
This is a time for Warren County to celebrate friendships and neighborhoods!
Last year’s successful launch has resulted in a Warren County Front Porch Day that has grown county wide.

I made the choice to be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 to not only protect myself but to protect family, friends and neighbors in Warren, PA.
Please make the same choice that I did. Coronavirus is not something to risk - this new variant is increasingly stronger than what we were fighting last fall !
This year Warren Front Porch Day will host a free concert for our community.
We hope to see many neighbors and friends turn out to enjoy this time together.
One of I my local favorite artist families.
I hope you will enjoy this exhibition!

Community matters!
On Saturday, June 26, Warren hosted 2 new major events. It has been estimated that one of the events had up to 1,000 in attendance. That is 1,000 + opportunities for people to experience the beauty and hospitality of Warren. I am committed to finding more ways of sharing Warren with others, visiting our restaurants, visiting shops, and filling accommodations!
Forward Together!
When I obtained my seat on Warren City Council I read this mission statement. I still reread it today.
City Council -
Our mission is to establish a municipal government that will be the most responsive and most responsible to the needs and desires of the people of this municipality, both now and in the future (City of Warren Charter).
I take this mission very seriously every time I listen to a resident, every time I consider an outcome for our city and every time I take action on City Council. I research the issues and enter the decision making process without malice or prejudice.
Last night Warren City Council rejected the flawed proposal by the Redevelopment Authority to purchase tables and chairs. The city’s attorney advised that the purchase “did not fit with the RDA’s primary function”. If the RDA works with Warren City Council there are procedures that could be worked on to obtain the tables and chairs. The decision, while difficult, was bipartisan and was unanimous.
Last night I was so proud to have Warren Pride Day team attend Warren City Council meeting. Mayor Cashman indicated he will attend our Warren Pride Day celebration to read his proclamation for us !
We have a new Warren City council person. I am looking forward to working with Kimberly Exley!
Attached is a copy of the presentation that was made about Washington Park. Many people were not able to see the presentation due to the large crowd in City Council chambers. I also feel it is important for all residents to view what we are working with so far.

Washington Park Concept Plan The City of Warren recognizes the need to be proactive in assessing the need for future recreation opportunities within the City and in developing a comprehensive plan for future development of its parklands. Due to the highly competitive nature of grant funding, it is imperative that there be a con...
Washington Park, Warren, PA !
Thank you to everyone that have reached out to me through phone calls,
Facebook posts and my Warren City Council email. I believe in being available to you. When I started walking door to door back in early 2019 one thing I heard clearly was that the voice of the people was not being heard.
Today I want to continue to hear from you in regards to Washington Park. This overlook is a destination for many and deserves all of the attention that it is currently receiving.
As always feel free to reach out to me - we need to hear from a wide group of individuals and residents alike.

You may have heard about the recent Warren City Parks and Recreation meeting where there was a discussion about plans to develop Washington Park.
There are 4 options
#1 Leave the park alone and leave it as one of Warren’s “passive parks”
#2 Improve the access road and parking and install an information kiosk as well as a restroom
#3 Addition of hiking and walking trails including a sensory friendly trail for children with autism
#4 Open the park to mountain biking with about 2.35 miles of trails
As always I want to hear from you. While opportunities 2-4 are not progressing yet it is clear that we need to hear from a wide group of individuals and residents alike.

Even though my motion to suspend the “Egg Tax” ended in a tie vote concerned area residents and business people came together to help.
This is an awesome example of the generosity and community spirit of Warren, PA.
Wow, the community support is fantastic! And it is much appreciated. We just want to make a clarification. There is a difference between the VENDOR Fee and the 'EGG TAX' that the City requires. The vendor fee is what the vendor pays to the Farmers Market for their spot/participation through out the year. The 'egg tax' is a fee that a vendor pays to the City for a permit/license to sell "potentially hazardous" foods, such as eggs, that require refrigeration. If there are any questions from Vendors OR potential donors of fees please let us know and we will happily answer to the best of our abilities. Thanks again Warren.
