Being disappointed and dissatisfied with life can be caused by a myriad of things. But for many of us, these are symptoms that we have focused too much on ourselves and are angry with life. We have forgotten to count our blessings, neglected giving thanks to God, become silent in our praise to our Father, and have quit helping those around us. Thinking of others is how Christ lived. When we follow his example, our actions make a difference in the lives of those we bless and we also find ourselves immensely blessed as well. Let's get our focus off ourselves and look to bless our neighbors!

God has a purpose for you
Most people live their entire lives without ever knowing the reason “WHY?”. They exist year after year with no idea of why they live, or what God’s purpose is for their lives. The most basic question a person can ask is, “What is the meaning of life?”
Everyone wants to be happy and try many ways to achieve this. Some look for happiness by acquiring possessions, pleasure, or power. But real happiness comes from understanding our purpose.
What is the promise? That, for those who are saved, all things will indeed work together for good. "All things" should be taken to mean each and every circumstance one might experience, even pain or suffering. "Work," or "work together," must be understood in light of God taking action in the world. He is the one who causes all things to work together or, perhaps, works in and through all circumstances toward a specific end. What is that end? "Good."

Even on our best days, we all fall short of God's holiness. Rather than progressing culturally, we find ourselves slipping. Our need to approach God with humility is "earned"! So let's be humble and call upon the Lord, throwing off our sin and seeking after him.
Sometimes, our frustrations; are preparations.
God is teaching us to be patient and ready. He wants us to trust that all things are possible with Him.

How is Jesus a role model for us today?
He is the perfect role model because of His love for all of us — so much so that He gave Himself upon the cross, so we could be forgiven our sins. He healed people of whatever they needed wherever He went and showed them what it really meant to love. Think about what you do and say as you live your life to come.

What makes us valuable in the eyes of God?
It required something of far greater value, so God sent the most valuable and precious gift He had to pay the price for man's salvation and that was His dear son, Jesus. Therefore in God's eyes we are “priceless”. Nothing on earth could purchase us but the value God saw in His son is the value He sees in us.

The power that the Holy Spirit gives us is something that reflects in the natural as well as the supernatural. He gives us power, love, and self-discipline. Power can be many things backed up by the Holy Spirit, such as boldness to preach the gospel and power to perform healing miracles.
The importance of learning is that it helps the individual to acquire the necessary skills through learning and knowledge so that he can achieve his set goals. An important fact about learning is that it is a means to improve knowledge and gain skills that will help in reaching specific goals.

Sometimes ignorance is a legitimate excuse for morally wrong behavior, and sometimes it isn’t. The word blame means “to find fault with.” Blaming goes beyond acknowledging God’s sovereignty. Blaming God implies that He messed up, that there is a fault to be found in Him. When we blame God, we make ourselves His judge and jury. But mere human beings have no right to pass judgment on the Almighty. We are His creation.

How do you see yourself? Pause for a moment and think about it. What thoughts have you had about yourself today?
So many of us find ourselves basing our self-worth on how others see us and on our accomplishments, feeling shame from our past, defining our value based on our looks, or setting unrealistic standards for ourselves.

Be our guest tomorrow
Jesus is pointing out that salvation is neither obtained nor kept through works. In fact, Jesus is contrasting the nature of salvation with the nature of human efforts. One is temporary and requires work. The other is eternal and is obtained only as a gift. Twice, in fact, Jesus refers to this "living water" as something He will give. This is not something a person could draw for themselves, even if they wanted to.

When He comforts you, you are settled. Your mind will be at rest and you will enjoy the peace of the Lord. God of all comfort implies that there is no issue that God cannot resolve.

How many times have you abandoned your blessings? How many times have you disqualified yourself from a room that is a blessing to you just because you are inferior? Because of doubting yourself, you walk away from that room not knowing it had a potential to change your life. Because if God wants to take you to the next level, He have to change the people and the crowd that you find yourself in the middle of it.
