Spent the last several days painting and staining trees, snowflakes and stars to get ready for a fall craft show!
Painting the new apron with a brush trying to match existing pedestal legs.
Reworking older table and making some candle holders for craft show. Had to make new apron for table but the legs will be re-used. Top is from a desk and was stripped and stained. Need to stain bottom and clear coat.
Existing finish on tabletop has been removed. Just need to sand and clean prior to new finish.
Completed wall candle sconce. Still need to add finish of some kind. Stripping finish off existing dining room tabletop. Plastic bag on top helps keep the stripper from drying out.
Made some more craft ideas. Eventually all of the crafts will be painted or stained.
Whose thinking of Christmas in the summer? Apparently we are, a snowflake shelf and a 3 foot Christmas tree to get ready for the November craft show!
Another idea for the fall craft show. Needs to be stained and sealed.
Making some stuff for a craft show!
First coat of sealer applied.
Beam cap complete with cerused look and planter with casters is ready for clear coat.
Making a cap to cover seam on previously made entryway beams. And making another cedar planters. This planter will have casters so it can be moved around.
First coat of paint!
Both cabinets primed.
Lower cabinet for builtin assembled. Just need to do some sanding before priming and painting. Cedar planter completed. Just need to clear coat.
Rebuilt upper cabinet and started preparing lower cabinet panels for assembly. Also working on cedar planter while waiting for glue to dry.
We have 2 of these left that are roughly
18 x 18 x 18. They have been clear coated inside and out. $116.60 each after tax.
First attempt at stripping paint due to a poor paint job.
Primed tv cabinet parts this morning. Need to sand in a couple of hours.
Added face frames and put a round over on some trim.
Tv cabinet carcass almost complete. Need to add back.
Prepared panels and face frame pieces for assembly.
Panels for tv cabinet cut to size. Upper cabinet carcass assembled.
Picked up plywood for tv cabinet builtin.
Thanks to my customers for sending me a picture of the cabinets I built them for their new office space. The installer, Jazz It Up Finished Carpentry did a great job installing them! Always grateful to be part of a customers project!
Stain applied to beams. Clear coat tomorrow or Friday, weather permitting.

Cerused process has begun for entryway beams. White base coat has been applied.
Notched out upper beam and did first round of sanding.
11’-4 1/2” faux beam glued up. Two more beams ready for glue up.
