When it comes to your pool filter, most systems are designed to operate in the 5-15 or 10-20 psi range. Whenever the psi rises 5-10 psi above it’s starting pressure reading, that means it’s time to clean the filter again.
If your psi is still too high after cleaning, there’s a chance that your filter is full of not just water, but air.
Air in your pool’s circulation system is not good. One of the most common ways that air gets in your filter is from low water level in the pool.
When you look into your pool, the water should be filled about halfway up your skimmer door. If it’s low, your skimmer is probably sucking air into your pipes, which goes through your pool filter and pump-and has potential to wreak havoc along the way.
Be cautious of these things because the last thing you want is for your equipment to get too hot because it’s moving not water, but air.

When it comes to your foundation, grading around your home plays a critical part. Even on new construction, many times the grading is not properly done and can lead to poor drainage around the home.
A good slope to aim for when grading land around the foundation is about 6 in. within the first 10 feet (a 5% slope). This will make sure that even during heavy rainfall, water will always drain away from the home and not damage your foundation 👍🏽.

Most builders offer a one-year warranty on a new home. It’s important to take advantage of this & have the home inspected before the builder’s warranty expires.
Our reports will allow you to hold your builder and his subcontractors to their warranties while they’re still in force 👍🏽

Your pool water’s chlorine & pH levels should be tested at least every 2 weeks.
Chlorine is the chemical most often used to keep swimming pools & spas free of bacteria.
pH is the measure of how acidic or alkaline the water is. Proper pH levels should be right in the middle of the two to ensure the cleanest form of water.
If the water has too little chlorine, acid or alkaline levels, more can always be easily added to ensure proper balance. So make sure to stay on top of this to prevent contamination of harmful bacteria’s in your pool👍🏽
