Crochet keeps me very busy during my time out of booth. I’m stocking up for a craft fair next week and then I’ll start building up my supply for Fall, and Christmas gifts for cancer patients at my local hospital.

Three years ago when I was starting my audiobook journey I had a handful of people who were willing to hop on a zoom call to guide me and I was so appreciative ~ now I try to give back. Who can say no to this sweet lady ?

Today was another crochet “drop off” for local oncology patients. The nursing staff welcomes the goodies with open arms and tell me the colorful lap blankets are good medicine for a bad day. The scarves went to outpatients receiving therapy. Apparently really nice for throat cancer patients.

I think this is the longest chapter I’ve recorded but at least it was interesting! 🧐 🤔 and my glare resistant glasses came in handy after eye dilation yesterday 😳

It’s (virtual) conference day! Looking forward to learning more as a narrator and connecting with friends and new contacts at .

Happy New Year! In 2024 one of my narration goals is to add a new lane to my audiobook highway and begin to narrate . I love Interesting stories about celebrity/entertainment, music, the 70’s, Breast cancer health to honor my friend, and caregiving. It’s like I can’t crochet fast enough to gift away! My holiday drop off for cancer patients at my local medical center was this week. I’m grateful I can do it and the staff is grateful too ~ in memory of my 2 friends who fought the breast cancer battle as best they could 😔❤️
