When I started Sassy Lu's, I lived in Savannah, GA, on the sweetest little street called Sagebrush Lane. It is the place, more than any others, that my children view as "home." That is a weighty statement, a blessing that most military families are not afforded.

Nearly 13 years later, I call the Blue Hills of Central Utah, "home." Our property is covered in sagebrush, unique rocks, and wildlife. Nothing special or fancy, yet it feels magical to us.

Throughout the years, no matter where we have lived, Sassy Lu's saw varied periods of activity mixed with dormancy. Many of you have stayed with me through it all, and I thank you for your support!

As I began to reingage with my inner maker this past year, it felt like a good time to switch things up a bit and start fresh. Sassy Lu's will now be called "Blue Sage Jewelry". The name is in honor of some of the places I have lived and loved.

I will continue to make every piece of jewelry you see here. I have mainly focused on earrings for the past 5 years, but I plan to offer bracelets and necklaces in the future as well. Custom orders will be accepted on a case by case basis.

I still have dozens of fantastic Sassy Lu leather and faux leather earrings. The price has been significantly reduced in those items. Isn't that teal to die for? I know it's not for everyone, but they really are stunning! These earrings feel like summer but definitely work for fall. The yellow is more of a mustard than sunshine. Lots of movement on the fringe, but they're still lightweight and easy to wear.
