Knife River NW recently welcomed 40 Caterpillar executives to our Farmington Quarry near Portland, OR, for an Executive Leadership Development program. They toured our yard, shop and asphalt plant, and witnessed a production blast. We discussed service improvements and green energy innovations. Huge thanks to the Farmington team for showcasing our commitment to PEOPLE, SAFETY, QUALITY and ENVIRONMENT!

For the 10th straight year, Knife River and Partners have completed the Cascade Relays Event. Also referred to as "CLR", the long-distance relay race held annually in Oregon, covering approximately 216 miles, starting near Diamond Lake and ending in Bend. Teams of runners, typically composed of 12 members, take turns running segments of the course, which winds through scenic landscapes including forests, mountains, and high desert terrain.

This year the Knife River team "Rock n Rollerz" placed 2nd in the corporate division, 11th overall finishing the challenging course in 30 hours, 48 minutes. Congratulations to our team members from Andersen Construction, Lydig Construction, Road & Driveway Company and Knife River Prestress.

The Knife River Prestress team had an excellent visit to the WSDOT I-405 design-build project near Renton, Washington. Special thanks to Colin Eoff, the project engineer with Flatiron Construction, for his informative and engaging tour. His strong emphasis on safety was evident, and the job site was impressively clean and orderly. The precast fascia panels, produced at our Harrisburg, Oregon plant, were delivered and installed on site. Kudos to everyone involved in this project!

Exciting news from Knife River Prestress! We've just completed the fabrication and are now installing our advanced precast/prestressed cladding panels for a Data Center near Boise, Idaho. Knife River Prestress recently partnered with Turner Construction, KPFF and NBBJ Architects on the Block 5 project located in Bellevue Washington's Spring District. Knife River fabricated and delivered the solid precast concrete cladding panels which featured a roughed board form finish and structural grey mix design. The board form finish beautifully mimics the texture of wood, creating a visually striking facade that blends seamlessly with the modern urban environment of the Spring District.

Our ready-mix team in St. Cloud, MN, kicked off the week with a successful and safe 2:00 AM pour, supplying 290 yards for the State Hwy 23 and US 10 bridge project. Great job, team!

Located outside of Mesa Washington, the Ironwood Creek Bridge Replacement Project was designed to increase the roadway width from 24' to 32'. Knife River Prestress provided (5) 39" Wide Fl**ge Deck Girders spanning over the South Columbia Basin Irrigation District’s Eltopia Branch Canal. A big thank you to our partners Apollo Inc (.inc1) and KPFF Seattle () on another successful bridge replacement project.
