A huge percent of my clients initially came to me with “low energy” feeling like a personality trait. It’s important to learn that low energy is not normal, and it shouldn’t be a part of your identity. You have the power to change that, and feel soo much better. I know your teachers in school never mentioned this, so its our responsibility to find this knowledge out for ourselves. Let’s avoid figuring it all out when it comes to the point of no return, laying in a hospital bed.
Proactive learning and healing is so much nicer when youre trying to live your best life too.

Have you been focusing on your caloric intake more than the nutrient density of the calories you’re counting? This could be exactly why you aren’t seeing or feeling changes.
Sure it’s true that being in a sustained caloric deficit will help you lose weight, but if you’re not careful about the calories you are ingesting, you may find yourself in a nutrient deficiency. This will reveal its self through other discomforts like lack of energy, bad sleep (even if you hit the proper time), sustained soreness, groggy/moody & brain fog are just a few to mention.
An easy way to start becoming aware of the nutrient density of the food you eat is to take notice of the % Daily Values on the nutrition label. Are they all 0%? Or are you gaining [some]% benefit from this food?
Let’s change the way you feel, by first changing the way you think. Eliminate the stuff that has no value, so you can indulge and cherish the things that do bring value.
Only then you can have more space for life. More space for truly living your best life. This is limitlessness.
Remember that value is qualitative, not quantitative.

I know I won’t be the only one to say NOPE.
…it’s not easy. We aren’t exactly handed a guide on how to love ourselves properly, and even though we like to think that we know and own ourselves, there’s almost Always more to learn and own up to in life. This alone is such a burden of a gift.
The beauty is, that when we can put ourselves in the perspective of newness, of openness, of willingness… we can begin to see ourselves in a new light. Here, in this new perspective, we are able to address the issues we’re experiencing and work towards compassionate positive change. This is self growth. This is self love.
We are truly gifted this body and soul- each accompanied by a mission, a purpose. The only way to figure out what that is for your unique self, is by placing the attention and care there- within yourself. Your essence. Your body. Only you can see the ideal path ahead of yourself… but only if you’re willing to show yourself love.
Challenge yourself today. Try this:
Sit or lay in your favorite spot. Think about what is happening inside your body. Feel what it is about the space that makes you love it so much. Hear what makes you love it so much. Smell the air that you enjoy so deeply. See the beauty you found right there. Taste the top of your mouth. Completely be where you are, and tune into the love and character you have within you. Love this exact moment, for what it is.
I believe in you. It’s not easy, it never will be. You are strong and you can try.

There’s a time and place for everything, but you’ll need to learn what’s out there and how it works for you to truly optimize your health and wellness. Here’s some helpful info on how certain mindsets around eating can change your entire experience and relationship with your body.
Personally, i am at a point in life where i practice intuitive eating most often. With most of my clients, we start with a whole-food-based diet mindset only for a few weeks, to see how their body responds to certain situations. After building that base-line understanding, we transform this relationship with food into more intuitive eating styles to better adapt to the client’s aspiring lifestyle.
Having a coach to inform & guide you on the transformative journey through wellness helps eliminate simple mistakes or time wasted trying to learn it all yourself. A coach can also provide you the support you’ve been missing in your aspirations to be better- which is what i see most often.
I want it remind you that help is out there, and it’s okay to ask for help. In fact, most new endeavors in any area of life are failed when the leader fails to recognize their need for assistance outside of themselves.
Avoid this mistake, and practice vulnerability. Practice human nature. Rejoice in the innate compassion we are gifted to be present for one another and flourish with the help of another. Your life is limitless, if you allow for it to be. and it all starts with you.

Who else over-eats on the weekend and falls right back into the “catch up” recovery game?
Such an important feeling to understand in your body is true hunger. We live in a world of abundance, where we are able to easily walk over to the fridge at any point and grab another snack. And so now, are you sure you know your hunger cues from your boredom cues?
When you never wait for those hunger cues to dictate when you should go hunt in the fridge, then you will constantly eat past satiety- leaving you feeling grossly full and needing to “get back” into your healthy habits the next day.
This cycle grows stronger when you listen to people telling you how to eat, following diet plans not specifically made for you; causing you to lose touch with your own body and its natural cues.
Take back your body and begin to listen to what it’s telling you! Your body is extremely smart, and you can simply take the time to tune in and listen to it anytime! This is what i call intuitive eating.
