Evans Racing

Matt Evans and I agreed this year we were going to make racing fun again.. no pressure or stress of points racing if we wanted to take a week off we could without worring about losing points... EXCEPT the WCRS we have been working at the WCRS semi pro championship for 3 years.. we almost had it last year but fell short... well This year we did it.... and we had fun doing it.. as always with Racing there were definitely tough spots where we wanted to say screw it.. but we never gave up... we could never have don't it without Artie Newman at Adrenaline Rush Racing and all his help, or James Carroll and all his wisdom and guidance... Ronnie Smith and his guidance... and of course our sponsors A and J lawn care, meetinghouse monster maze, Treens Pools, Barney Designs and all our friends and family....

Thanks to Mother nature last week the last WCRS Race was canceled and rescheduled for today... we are leading in points going into today.. hopefully we still will be after today and we can Finally take home that semi pro championship we have been working so hard for..... we have some tough competition to get through though... but we are ready

Ugh finally racing at our dream track Utica-Rome Speedway and both my drivers can't race... Mike has a broken hand and Matt's at college.. 1st and 2nd in points and can't race.. ugh the joys of racing....

Well the season is winding down we just raced for fun this year. No points (except the WCRS and we are 1st and 2nd in that) but weekly we are just racing for fun... probably our last Friday night at Dodge City Speedway, Inc. Matt starts college next week... so we are going to give them Hell this week....

Didn't get the finish we wanted last night but had some hard hits so it was fun

Matt finished 3rd in the feature last night at Dodge City Speedway, Inc. It was a good night we tried a few things different and made small improvements... we will just keep working at it and we will get that track figured out... I have to say thank you to James Carroll and Ron Smith for all there help...

So we decided to try out a state conference co****le tournament tonight instead of racing

All loaded up and nowhere to go, Dodge City Speedway, Inc. Has canceled do to rain.. we will try again next week

New axle all in and put back together.. just waiting on the front spindle and we will be ready for Friday night.

Let the repairs begin

It was a rough night at Dodge city speedway last night, everyone out there please say some prayers for a Carroll family and for a speedy recovery for Terry Carroll, Terry and Matt were involved in an accident coming out of turn 2 and Terry had to be taken to the hospital, Racing is a dangerous sport whether it's karts or big cars its very dangerous, the Carrolls are one of the best racing family we were blessed to meet,

Well all the work we said we were going to do on the off season (as usual) didn't get done so we have not been able to start this season yet, we finally got the engines back A big shout out to Adrenaline Rush Racing thank you Artie without you we wouldn't be able to do any of this fun stuff... after a late night of finishing up and scaling we are going to be checking out Dodge City tonight.

It was a great year for us at Evans Racing .. Mike didn't do much kart racing but he won to Derbys... Matt had an amazing year! He won several races including 1 WCRS race and he won track champion at Caroga Creek Racepark in the Semi pro division and finish 2nd in the WCRS points.... thank you to all our sponsors and a big thank you to Adrenaline Rush Racing and Artie Newman... and a big shout out to James Carroll for his help this year...

It was a cold night at Caroga Creek Racepark last night for the last WCRS race of the season... Matt had started 4th and fought his way to 2nd. Mike struggled all night with the chain coming off 2 times during the heat race and then engine troubles in the feature....

Today's the last race of the season. Hope to end the season with our 2nd WCRS win
