Rich creamy chocolate pudding made from scratch topped with cookie crumbles and crawling with worms. A nice little segue into the ghoulish treats we’re creating for Halloween 👻🎃🧛🏼‍♀️ all proceeds will go directly to Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Voyaging Society wearevoyagers.org and their excellent keiki program Ho’oulu Ka ‘Ike ❤️🛶 (Nat has the honor of being their steers woman for the new 3 person canoe to be unveiled and blessed during school tomorrow)

It’s Sunday!!! New on our menu this week is 🌺 Van Gogh’s Fruity Night - haupia, tapioca, and fresh strawberries, mangoes, and dragon fruit. 🌺 Our gourmet savory danish is spinach, Brie, pears sautéed with cinnamon, brown sugar, and macadamia liqueur topped with a prosciutto rosette and balsamic reduction 🌺 and last but not least, Nat made an excellent twist on an old school personal pizza. We had to test these a couple times this week to make sure they were as good as we thought 🤣 three cheese stuffed crust danish with Italian marinara sauce topped with cheese and pepperoni 🌺 and our regular menu of dangerous danishes-triple berry, lilikoi, and apple. Cafe mocha tapioca, mini sweet potato pies with haupia and toasted marshmallow meringue, Chocolate banana cream pie. 🌺 Cinnamon raisin swirl bread 🌺 And, I almost forgot! We’re going to share something we’ve been making for ourselves. Getting in shape for the 25-50 miles of voyaging in the Paddle for Life to support the Pacific Cancer Foundation has been fantastically challenging. At first we were just exhausted. Then we were sore and exhausted. Now that we’ve made it through the initial welcome back to physical exertion we find ourselves needing to refuel or prefuel. We keep spinach and fresh fruit protein smoothies in the freezer to grab on the run and we mixed up some Atomic Super Fuel Cells. At least that’s what we call them. Raw tahini, maca powder, matcha powder, Belgian dark chocolate chunks, almond butter, Bob’s Red Mill rolled oats, Big Island honey, h**p seeds, flax seeds, dried tart cherries, and a little bit of Nutella, because it used to be her nickname? (Super sweet and a little nutty, don’t tell her I said that 😳😁) 4-8pm tonight

Test kitchen Tuesday was a smashing success! Every Tuesday we experiment to bring new, excellent treats to Sunday Market. This is our spinach, Brie, and pear danish with a prosciutto rose. The pear slices are caramelized in cinnamon, sugar, and macadamia liqueur. All of this arranged in flakey, buttery pastry and drizzled with a balsamic reduction syrup. Introducing this week’s new menu items! Caramelized Apple Dangerous Danish, Strawberry Lemonade Tapioca with fresh dragon fruit (vegan AND delicious!), and a new twist on her Purple Sweet Potato Haupia Pie... this week it’s topped with a fluffy toasted marshmallow meringue!!! And 50% of sales this week and next are going to support Natalie’s “Paddle For Life” fundraising efforts. Rachel and Natalie have a goal to donate $500 to the Pacific Cancer Foundation and Natalie has been training diligently for the 25 miles of paddling. The grand event (with a reduced number from previous years) of 30-40 canoes landing on one beach has been switched over to a virtual paddle in respect for the health of our island ohana. She will be paddling with her “bubble” crew to Molokini and possibly also Coral Gardens. Thank you so much for your support!❤️🌺

Ever wanted a cup of coffee you could sink your teeth into? Rachel’s coffee tapioca with Tahitian vanilla whipping cream is exactly what you’ve been waiting for! ❤️☕️ I keep telling her she’s made my favorite dessert ever and then she comes up with another to top it(coffee addict here)! “Fortune Cookies”... living on Maui, eating toasted butter gooey chocolate chunk cookies, living in the moment, that’s a pretty great fortune! This weeks menu also includes lilikoi or Haupia filled cream puffs, purple sweet potato with Haupia and toasted homemade marshmallow pie, chocolate banana cream pie, fresh out of the oven honey white or cinnamon raisin swirl bread. Bitz n Bitez menu this week includes purple molokai sweet potato pie topped with toasted homemade marshmallows, chocolate banana cream pie, lilikoi or vanilla French custard filled cream puffs, gooey chocolate chip cookie bitez, chocolate chip banana bread, raisin cinnamon swirl bread, pizza bread (roasted Maui tomatoes, diced garlic roasted in olive oil, Italian seasonings, cheese, and salami), and 7 varieties of Maui fruit preserves including MaiTai, Kula Strawberry PiñaColada, and Maui Mango Margarita. as we navigate our current challenging times and Rachel cooks her way to music school ❤️🎶 The mayor has graciously permitted the market to go on in spite of the current roll-back, asking that everyone respect current safety guidelines of social distancing, masks, and hand washing. We’re still making pies, cookies, and cream puffs to order for anyone wanting survival food for the storm 💨 We’ll also be featuring a line of Maui fruit preserves. Kula Strawberry and Mango, Kula strawberry and pineapple, AND a trio of special flavors.... Kula Strawberry Piña Colada, Maui Mango Margherita, and Maui Mai Tai 🧉🍹🍸 coming to our website shortly and the Maui Sunday Market next week.
