Covid-19 SUCKS!!!!
Hello everyone,,
Wow, what a crazy time we are all living in....
With so much going on that it is so hard to keep up.
Hope everyone is staying as safe and healthy as possible.
I wanted to address questions I have received regarding this project.
Dacrazies album has been a project that has been worked on for years, that was finally released on 2/20/2020.
Some of the story behind this album is as follows....
All songs on this project were written, performed, recorded, and produced by myself.
The kicker is .... the majority of this album was worked on heavily under the influence of w**d, alcohol, etc.
And the reason that is mentioned is because I forgot about these songs completely.
So, I refer to this project as the blackout sessions.....
As the story goes I staggered home one night, and sat in my musical dwelling quite inebriated years after these sessions were done. And at that time in my life music was the furthest thing from my mind, because of tragedies that transpired.
So, bored out of my mind I looked at my recording device in a haze, and decided to power up the system.
Looking through some SD cards that weren't labeled, I decided to pop one in the machine with headphones.
I started listening to the first song on the player, and immediately thought what the f**k is this?
I couldn't recall anything about it, and listened till the end of the first song. Then I played the next one, and to my
disbelief again I couldn't fathom what it was. But, it did not stop there it went on for awhile so I kept on pressing play.
It was like I was listening to an album I never heard of, and I was on it!!!
Back in the day I used to party like a motherf**ker, and these were jams that I completely f**king forgot about.
So, I must of shown up at home screwed, and hit record after jamming alone to not lose the ideas at the time.
Another thing that surprised me was how finished they were....
Rhythm tracks, Drums, Vocals etc....
Not completely finished ideas, but pretty f**king close.
It is so weird to learn songs that you wrote by ear instead of memory.
Also, the feel of these songs are loose to me which I truly enjoy.
I would like to thank so many people for their support, because I have always greatly appreciated it.
