Hey guys! I haven’t posted in a while but here is a bunch of deer I’ve got finished up. As soon as these cold temps slow down a little I’ll get back to boiling some more. As you all know, bow season as come to an end. I’m planning on drawing for the gun sometime this weekend!

23 7/8” wide with 6” bases. Very impressive deer! 6+ years old if I had to guess.
Of the hundred of deer heads I’ve skinned, this is a first. The tip of a broken tine, lodged just under the skin.

Hope everybody is having a good opening day! For anybody wanting to bring me a deer head, I’m gonna be taking some from 11:00 - 12:30 on Sunday, Nov. 12th. Just let me know and I can get you my address ahead of time. Don’t forget, I’m taking some capes so if you’ve got a nice buck with a nice cape, bring the whole deer and I’ll cape it out while you’re there if you don’t mind! Good luck everybody!

Hey everyone! As you know tomorrow is opening day of bow season and I imagine we will start seeing some bucks hit the ground!
With that being said, I’ve got some cool news for everybody. Keota Skull Co has went together with the Bevier Gun Depot and bought a gun for a raffle! It’s a Savage Axis 7 MM-08, brand new in the box. Here’s how it works - bring a buck to Keota Skull Co to be mounted and you get a chance to win. For each buck you bring, you get another chance to win the rifle. This year we are doing $90 for a European mount, which of course comes with a gun raffle ticket. We will draw for a winner at the end of deer season (Jan. 15, 2024)! The paperwork and exchange of the gun will be held at the Bevier Gun Depot.
I will have some plaques for sale for $15-$25 and of course, lots of hats for $20!
Also, this year I may take some good capes if anybody is willing. Rather than letting them go to complete waste, I’ll skin them off if you bring me the whole deer and they will get used on a mount somewhere. So, if you kill a deer you think is 3 1/2+ years old, I’d be interested in having the cape.

Another giant 8 finished up. Pictures truly don’t do this one justice. Beer can helps for reference. Super heavy, super big framed deer. It’s awesome! I love seeing these old bucks come in. Let em grow!

This is the coolest deer I’ve ever mounted. It’s hard to tell just how big it is. The deers right side is easily a 140” frame 8 point side. The other side will probably score similarly, but is extremely unique. Just a big ole buck. Amazing what happens when these deer live to be 5+ years old. Let em grow!
