do you know the difference? I always discuss with my clients how the shape of lashes can change the shape of their eyes, it matters!!!

Her blue eyes can rock both well in all honesty! But the black almost washes her blue eye color out and the brown makes her eyes look more dense in color. We have always done a doll rounded eye on her, where the longest length is placed in the center, but my gut said let’s try something new and I’m quite obsessed 😍 I love when a client lets me do me! We can always go back next time if you don’t like it :)

I’m not really sure what to call this set because I only had .03’s in these brown lashes, so I grabbed small hairs to create a classic effect. I actually ran into my student/friend and she took a class where they taught her this technique with .03’s and it’s called an angel set. My client has a ton of natural lashes and the first time I scared her a little bit lol with wet classics and the black lashes on top of her full thick lashes, it enhanced them even more. I spent about 3 hours on this set, as I began to lash I got nervous skipped some hairs and showed my client and she wanted them all the way! So we went full throttle and filled up her lash line, because of the brown it’s the perfect density and color🤎 she loves them! 🥰

At first as I began to apply I was going to go back to what I know best- black lashes. I was skeptical of how it would turn out, but I said you know what I just have to keep going, and my client even got a peek at them during bathroom break lol and she wasn’t feeling them at first! She normally gets volume/wispy hybrid and a D curl and 16mm for its peak length. But once we finished we were both happy with the results, how are you going to know if you’ll like something if you don’t try! These are definitely a dark brown shade-you wouldn’t notice if you’re not a lash artist. I am definitely going to invest in more shades of brown! What do you guys think? 🤎🤍✨

It’s giving strip lash! I was hesitant to add 14’s with 16mm spikes but it looks sooooo beautiful on her eye and I didn’t place that many because as you know long on the ends can get droopy over time. I added a few 9’s on the ends for that reason as well.

I have stopped adding filters to my photos because it blurs the true texture of my lashes! I love to see every detail :)
