TRANSFORMERS STUDIO SERIES 86 COMMANDER CLASS OPTIMUS PRIME!!!

Possible Transformers Studio Series 86 Optimus Prime?? If so, he looks amazing and I can’t wait to get him and the SS86 Megatron! They’ll be my holy grail figures!

Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire! This was a really fun movie and I really liked it! I think it felt kinda rushed and a tad anti-climatic but I still really liked it! All the Titans had so much personality without even saying a word. The expansion of the lore of the Monsterverse is really cool and welcome. It felt like the humans didn’t have as much story this time around which was a surprise to me and something I think really did help the movie and the universe as a whole. Spoilers below! Godzilla’s transformation was something I really liked and I love the idea of Godzilla powering up in anticipation of a threat but I don’t know if he was as powerful as he was in KOTM when he killed Ghidorah. Godzilla vs. Scylla was another awesome battle and seeing Scylla move across the screen was awesome since he’s a giant spider so it was definitely a cool battle! The final battle was awesome and was really well choreographed! Can’t wait for more Monsterverse projects because giant monsters battling will always be awesome!

Finally picked up Titans Return Misfire so I can complete the trio from Titans Return!

It took about 3 months but I finally finished 3D printing these Optimus Prime and Megatron figures.

I 3D printed a new fusion cannon for Transformers SS Gamer Edition Megatron. This cannon is better than the stock cannon, but it still doesn’t satisfy my wants. I hope DNA design makes him a much bigger and more accurate cannon like the original WFC toy and game model had.

My longest 3D print ever! It beat my previous record of 14 hours to come in at 1 day and 9 hours! It’s an Oculus Rift holder!

Marvel Legends Spider-Man: No Way Home Spider-Man (Final Swing), MJ, and Green Goblin! I finally got these three figures from the Spider-Man No Way Home wave and I’m pleased! I’m glad to finally get a figure of the best live-action MCU Spider-Man suit. MJ is a cool figure, but I only got her to go with Spider-Man and have more female figures in my MCU collection. The Green Goblin figure is good too, but it’s a little hard to pose on the glider and the connection point on the flight stand feels too thin so it’s scary to put the glider on the stand or take it off. These figures all have the same exact problem as other Marvel Legends figures: they can’t seem to stand. This problem is very annoying and for the price these figures now go for these days, it’s simply unacceptable so I’ve decided to stop collecting as many Marvel Legends figures as before. This includes me skipping the NWH Sandman figures and the two unmasked Spider-Man figures, I simply don’t believe they’re worth the price if they can’t even stand without any support. I’ll still get figures of my absolute favorite characters (Daredevil for example), but I’m slowing down almostcompletely. I hope Hasbro fixes this problem and fixes it soon.

(4/?) Transformers HasLab Deathsaurus! This has been my most anticipated figure of 2023 and it was well worth the wait! I think he is better than Victory Saber, and that was already an amazing figure! Deathsaurus comes with a lot of accessories and they are all great additions, especially his gigantic throne! The Living-Metal-Destroying Cannon is larger in person and his sword is the perfect foil to Victory Saber’s blade! The included Tigerchest and Eaglechest Micromasters are awesomely engineered and super detailed! The articulation is fantastic. The paint is stellar. This is why this figure is one of my favorites of 2023 and one of my all-time favorites! I could write many paragraphs about this figure but I will just let the photos do the talking!

Nova Forge SS Scourge Upgrade Kit! This kit has an interesting story. I ordered it on June 9th, never received a single update, then got the email that is finally shipped last month. I figured the wait would be worth it but I was so wrong. This kit only looks good, but in reality it’s not a quality product. First of all, the long wait between ordering it and receiving a shipping email is unacceptable, even if the wait is long, a simple update email letting me know everything was still being processed would have been something. Instead, I got nothing and was left wondering if I would ever receive my order. Second of all, a lot of the pieces in this kit have to be removed for transformation, but given that it’s an upgrade kit, that shouldn’t be expected. However, for the price and wait time of this kit, it should have been implemented in my opinion. Finally, the new neck joint is super difficult to snap into place. I absolutely would not recommend this kit and I would just wait on the two DNA design kits which are transformable and include a lot more parts.

Transformers Legacy United Core Class Tasmania Kid! This is definitely one of the weirder Legacy releases but that’s a great thing! He is from the Japanese Beast Wars II cartoon. This is a fun little figure and I love when we get another beast Transformer, especially a Tasmanian Devil! Hopefully this means more Beast Wars II figures are in the pipeline!

Transformers Legacy United Deluxe Class Rescue Bots Chase! Finally, some modern Generations Rescue Bots figures! Chase is one of my favorite deluxe figures I’ve received this year! He has an interesting car transformation that can easily be retooled into another character (such as Lockdown) and both of his modes are perfect modern interpretations of his Rescue Bots design! I hope this means we get modern Generations figures of the other Rescue Bots: Heatwave, Boulder, and Blades!

Transformers Legacy United Deluxe Class Animated Bumblebee! This is a figure I really like! I love having a Bumblebee that is much smaller than other figures and this one fits the bill!

Transformers Legacy United Deluxe Class Windblade! This was one of the figures I was looking forward to most out of the 2024 lineup and it does not disappoint! I’ve wanted a Windblade figure since she was originally created but all her figures became rare or they weren’t that great (RID Warrior Class Windblade). Luckily, Hasbro answered the call and made this figure of her after her appearance in the Cyberverse show! The figure has lots of articulation and looks just like she did in the Cyberverse cartoon. It’s great to have another deluxe jet mold and I can’t wait to see her potential retools or repaints (cough...Slipstream)!

Nonnef Productions Wheeljack Kit! War for Cybertron Earthrise Wheeljack has always been one of my favorite figures from the War for Cybertron trilogy so it really sucked when he only came with one tiny gun. I kinda ignored this fact since I got him, but I finally got tired of not seeing the full potential of this figure so I decided to order the Nonnef Productions Wheeljack kit and it definely makes the figure ven better for me! He finally has his signature shoulder cannon and his iconic pistol, as well as much larger wings that make him look much more like the animation model. I definably recommend this set for any Wheeljack fan and anyone that thinks the WFCER Wheeljack mold is lacking when it comes to accessories.

Transformers Legacy Evolution Voyager Class Trashmaster! I didn’t plan on picking up this figure but I got a gift card from work and I found him on sale at Target so I figured it was the perfect chance to pick him up! I’m glad I did! This figure is really fun to mess with and he turns into a cool garbage truck alt mode, which we rarely see in Transformers. I really hope he’s a pretool for a Rescue Bots Heatwave because this figure is chunky just like Heatwave is. The colors are also nice and make him blend in perfectly with the other junkions.

NASA is holding a program where you can add your name to be engraved on their Europa Clipper spacecraft! It’s free and it’s fun to say you have your name on another terrestrial body!

I done some unexpected astrophotography last night! I was outside getting something from my car and looked up and noticed the giant ring that looked like it was around the moon! I then looked on the Night Sky app to see the name of the star beside the moon but it turns out that “star” is Jupiter! I setup my telescope to see if I could get a better look but unfortunately the sky was too hazy yo capture a clear image. Such a fun experience and one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken!

Transformers Rise of the Beasts Beast Battle Master Airazor!

Godzilla: Minus One! I never watched any of the classic Godzilla movies but I had heard great things about Godzilla: Minus One so my expectations were high. I figured I would watch it while I was at the movies and my expectations were reached, the movie was amazing! Godzilla really feels like a wild animal and a force of nature in this movie and the historical background of WW2 is very relevant, I know it’s already part of Godzilla’s origin but something about this movie added more depth to it, especially with the storyline of the protagonist who was a kamikaze pilot that chose to live. This concludes my thought on the movie. In conclusion, I highly recommend this movie, not only for Godzilla fans, but also for enjoyers of WW2 movies and disaster movies!
