Deep Ocean Cold Water Plunge. We used some of our Deep Sea Water from 2200 feet below the surface of Hawaii’s Ocean for a little cold water plunge on our site in Kona at the Hawaii Ocean Science and Technology Park where AstaFactor originated in the late 90s. We are deeply disappointed by the decision to move the Ironman Championship out of Hawaii after 40 years. It is a sad day for both our island and Hawaii's racing community.
But luckily for us the races in October 2022 will be held here in Kona. That will be a two day race and the athletes who are currently qualified in the Ironman World championships -whether 2020,2021,2022,- will automatically be eligible to race that event. That's great news for eager men and women athletes who are ready for competition.
