Congratulations, Geraldine! This gorgeous girl got her braces off today after being a COF patient since she was 8 years old! We have loved having her as a patient at our Commerce City clinic, and we are really going to miss her and we are so happy to have helped her get the smile of her dreams! Great job, Geraldine! !

Our mission at the Colorado Orthodontic Foundation is to provide the best possible orthodontic care to low income families. Our patients save an average of $4,500 on their orthodontic care, making care accessible to kids who wouldn't otherwise be able to get treatment. We are so glad to be able to help so many kids achieve the smiles of their dreams!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out for COF’s Volunteer Appreciation Party last night, and to Punch Bowl Social for showing us a good time! It was so great to say thank you to all of the people who make our mission at the Colorado Orthodontic Foundation possible! We could not do the work of providing kids in need with low-cost orthodontic treatment without all of the dentists who send us referrals, the orthodontists who volunteer their time, the people who support our organization! Meet Dr. Isaac Chung at i-Orthodontics!

Dr. Chung completed his orthodontic residency in 2017, the same year he relocated to Colorado. He began volunteering with COF in 2018 and has been an amazing member of the team ever since!

When asked about his experience with COF, Dr. Chung shared, "What's great about volunteering with COF is knowing I am able to use my skills as an orthodontist to help impact the lives of those in my community. Oftentimes as a private practice provider, it's a challenge to dedicate time to volunteer on a regular basis. COF bridges the gap between providers who have a talent and desire to give back to the community with those families who would benefit greatly from orthodontic treatment. It's great to have a program like this in Colorado.”

🦷 Dr. Shaver has been practicing orthodontics for 28 years, and has been volunteering with COF for the past 10 years. She loves seeing the patients at COF. The patients and the parents are so appreciative of the service, and she loves knowing that she is making a difference in the life of a child. The gift of a smile lasts a lifetime, and makes such a difference in self esteem and confidence. Plus, she gets lots of hugs! What other job is so rewarding and gets hugs on a regular basis?!

Dr. Cassy Wiggins has been practicing orthodontics for nearly 28 years, and has been volunteering with COF since its inception in 2009. In addition to serving as the current president of COF, Dr. Wiggins sees COF patients at her private practice, Summit Orthodontics in Parker, CO, and in the Commerce City clinic. When asked why she loves volunteering with COF, she said that it allows her to use her professional skills to give back to the community and to help others, and that it has been so great getting to help all of the kids over the past years.
