This is the cylinder and piston from a Stihl MS200T. This one came in not running, and locked up. It would not turn over past TDC, and this piece of foreign material would be the reason why.
This saw will be getting a full rebuild - more pics to come!
πLeaf blower season is upon us!π
This BR800 came in with a customer complaint of no power. A simple tune-up (including a valve adjustment) got this one back up on its feet.

A customer gave us this 372xp X-torq to repair. It was running rough and losing power. Upon inspection, it was found to have a scored top end. Pressure testing showed the culprit was the decompression valve leaking.
We installed a new Meteor cylinder and piston kit with Caber rings, and plugged off the decompression. This saw came up perfect under pressure and vacuum tests after reassembly. A few finishing touches, test and tune, and its back out in the field!
All that, yet still cheaper than buying a new saw!
Another backpack blower that bit the dust! This one happens to be an Echo PB8010 that was mistakenly ran on regular gas. A new OEM piston and cylinder was installed on this unit, along with new gaskets, bringing it back to life.
This PB8010 is upwards of $700 to replace, so the owner was very happy to have it repaired at a fraction of the cost of a new one!
This Redmax EBZ8500 blower was the victim of an air leak, which scored the piston and cylinder. Pressure testing the unit revealed the screws at the intake manifold had come loose.
A new OEM cylinder and piston was installed, repairing the machine at a third of the price of a new one!

This dirty spark arrestor was pulled from a Stihl chainsaw.
This dried out fuel line was found on a customer's Stihl chainsaw. The line looked ok, until it was flexed. Cracked lines like this one can cause air leaks, which will burn up your piece of equipment!

We've had a lot of repairs and annual tune-ups come in this year. Here is a Stihl MS362 that was just finished up. This one came in locked up, not running. Luckily, the bottom end was still in good shape. A new piston and cylinder kit fixed this one right up! Need repairs or a tune up done? You know who to call!
This John Deere D140 came in for a tune up for the season. All filters and oil changed, new spark plugs, new blades, and a good check-over and its ready to go!
Here is another example of what happens when old gas sits in your equipment. This Champion generator was the victim of a dirty carburetor.
