Kipnuk Water & Sewer Project

Thanks for your time and allowing our engineers to document your homes for the water and sewer project! We received quite a few questions as we did the surveys and wanted to share the answers below:
• When’s the next meeting? Fall 2023 with the 95% ePER.
• What’s the timing for construction? Construction could start as early as 2025 and will take 2-3 years.
• Will the whole community be served at the same time? Construction to serve all eligible homes will begin at the same time, but depending on phasing, some homes could receive services before others.
• Which area(s) of town will be served first? We aren't sure yet, this depends on the details of the design.
• How many holes will need to be made in my walls? At least two, the details will depend on the final design.
• We don’t have space for a 5’ x 7’ bathroom, so can we just get a toilet and sink (no bathtub)? Yes.
• We prefer to take steams, so can the bathtub be eliminated? Yes.

CRW Engineering Group, Inc. will be heading back to Kipnuk April 30th to May 5th to finish off the home eligibility house-to-house surveys! They will be conducting interviews and taking photos of the inside and outside of every home.

Representatives from CRW Engineering Group, LLC will be in Kipnuk April 17-21 to start the house-to-house surveys for determining if your home is eligible for water and sewer service. They will be conducting interviews and taking photos of the inside and outside of every home.
