It’s always a good time to do demonstrations for the children of our community!!

I had an opportunity to teach the level I national curriculum over the weekend. While Brennan participated in the level II class.

Brennan for his birthday wanted to build his own wood working bench. After a bit of research he chose a design and now we are cutting up the pieces.

Dried medicinal yarrow from my garden, no pesticides. Looking to sell I have more than I will use for my purposes. $25.00 for a quart jar.

🔥 I am now formally certified to teach the level I Artist Blacksmith's Association of North America - ABANA national blacksmithing curriculum. I have been teaching my kids informally but now I will be offering as part of our Vocational Agriculture courses also 🦾

We will be in the vendor section doing blacksmithing demonstrations and selling/taking orders. Feel free to come watch or consider taking something home with you.

We will be demonstrating traditional blacksmithing Sunday November 6th 1-4pm county historical museum.
We will be making a specialized hammer head, forge welding chain and making a gate latch.

My first and only knife to date for my wife.
She wanted something to take on our hikes while foraging.
I am sure I will make more but for now we are focusing on small custom ornamental and the ABANA national curriculum.

Tonight we were out in the forge practicing our skills making some S hooks. We also started a new project… curtain rods. It’s always fun to explore and push boundaries learning new things.

📄Emily has always wanted to make her own paper from scrap paper. So we built 🪚a deckle gathered the supplies and she got to work. It is fun to see how interested our kids get when doing something new.

Next up natural dying and eco printing on home made recycled paper.♻️🌳
